In this unit, students will learn to talk about what products are made of and where they were made using the Passive Voice. In this period, they will learn about some traditional art in China by reading a passage. At the same time, they will master the reading strategy---moving from general to specific. All the students will be interested in this period.

Step1. Lead in
Show a piece of paper and cut it with scissors, then show the paper cutting to the students.

Ss: Yes, it is.
T: Paper is a common thing in our daily lives, but we can turn it into a beautiful object. (板书:Beauty in Common Things)
