(The 1st Period)
Ⅰ、学情分析:
本节课教学内容的对象是小学六年级的学生,学生们在此前已学完(教材:粤人2011课标版英语三年级起点,六年级上册,Book7)1-3课关于Health & Direction的内容,会进行简单的关于“身体健康”和“问路”的对话,如:What’s wrong with you / What’s the matter with you I have a cold. What’s good/bad for me Get plenty of exercise./Eat too much junk food. Excuse me. Where’s the hospital Go straight. It’s across from the park … 大部分学生兴趣投入,敢于开口,乐于模仿与表演,能积极参与课堂各项活动。
Ⅱ、教材分析
本节课教学内容是:粤人2011课标版英语三年级起点,六年级上册,Book7 Review1的Activities部分。这是一节综合复习课,主要是通过为学生设计各种活动,复习本册书Units1-3关于Health & Direction的主要词汇和句型,让学生学会综合运用这些知识进行对话、表演等。
Ⅲ、本节课设计整体思路和依据:
根据《英语课程标准》的要求,结合学生的实际情况,认知需要和发展需要,本节课设计主要围绕“Health & Direction”的话题,以“Tom's Story”作为主线,以培养学生的学习兴趣和提高英语口语交际能力为主,以学生为主体,教师为辅,通过听、说、读、写等一系列活动,采用游戏、歌谣、活动表演等教学方式以及多媒体辅助教学法, 从简单到复杂,从单一到综合,循序渐进地复习六年级英语上册1-3课的内容。
Ⅳ、教学目标、教学内容
1.教学目标。
本节课围绕“Health & Direction”的主题展开教学活动。主要任务是复习前面Units1-3的主要词汇和句型,引导学生学会综合运用1-3课的句型、词汇编对话进行表演等,最终达到会用英文谈论个人的健康问题以及问路、方位,学以致用。并达到以下教学目标:
(1)语言知识目标:
学生进一步巩固、复习1-3课关于“Health & Direction”的句型、词汇,并运用“一般现在时”谈论个人的健康问题以及问路、方位等,学以致用。
(2)语言技能目标:
学生能够正确听懂、认读1-3课所学句型、词汇,能够唱、读相关的歌谣,能进行关于“Health & Direction”这个话题的语言交际活动,并提高学生的合作能力。
(3)文化意识目标:
通过复习1-3课,让学生进一步了解关于个人的健康问题以及问路、方位等方面的知识。并通过创设各种情景教学,进行英语对话,让学生清楚中外语言文化的异同。
(4)情感态度目标:
培养学生养成良好的生活习惯,拥有健康的体魄以及拥有“助人为乐”的精神。
(5)学习策略目标:
通过自主学习、小组合作学习等方式,培养学生与人沟通合作的能力,从中体会小组合作的乐趣,学会合作学习的策略,培养团队精神。
2.教学内容。
(1)主要复习本册书Units1-3关于Health & Direction的主要词汇和句型。
重点词汇:have a headache, have a toothache, have a cold, have a fever, have a stomachache, take some medicine, see the dentist, stay in bed, turn left, turn right, go straight, across from, street, corner, traffic light, bus stop, enough, plenty of, healthy, chocolate, not enough, too much, unhealthy, candy, junk food
重点句型:What’s wrong with you /What’s the matter with you I have a cold. What’s good/bad for me Get plenty of exercise./Eat too much junk food. Excuse me. Where’s the hospital Go straight. It’s…
(2)教学重点:a. To talk about one’s health with each other.
b. To ask and give directions fluently.
(3)教学难点:Enable the students to talk about their health and ask or give directions by using the learned words and sentences in Units1-3 fluently.
Ⅴ、教学策略。
1、教法与学法。
(1)运用情景教学法,通过创设各种情景活动进行教学。
(2)通过英语歌谣、游戏、对话练习以及小组表演等小组合作的方式,帮助学生进一步巩固和运用知识。
2、教学媒体及辅助手段:电脑、投影仪、PPT、图画卡片等。
通过运用多媒体和图片等视、听觉材料创设生动自然的语言情境,帮助学生理解学习内容,优化课堂效果。
3、教具准备:PPT、图片、练习题纸张、学生表演时所用的道具
课型:复习课(时间:40分钟)
Ⅵ、教学过程(Teaching procedures)
Step1. Warming up
1. Sing a song.
T: Do you like singing, Children Let's sing a song. OK
教师与学生齐唱英文歌:What's the matter with Gogo
T: How is Gogo today What's the matter with him Today, let's go over the Knowledge about one's health. Let's learn: Review1.(显示课题,让学生齐读课题。)
2. Play TPR game (教师与学生齐玩TPR游戏。)
如:教师说:“have a cold”,学生们做打喷嚏的动作。
(设计意图:通过唱英文歌和玩TPR游戏,调动学生的学习激情以及复习1-3课所学的关于Health & Direction的词汇和句型。)
Step2. Practices
1. Enjoy a story and talk about one’s health.
(1) Enjoy Tom’s story and answer the questions.
T: Gogo feels sick today. How is Tom Let’s enjoy the story.
让学生观看Tom的故事视频。
T: Do you enjoy the story Now, answer the questions, please.
让学生根据Tom的故事回答以下问题。
※What’s the matter with Tom Why
※What should he do What shouldn’t he do
(2)Talk about your health with each other.
(学生两人小组互相谈论各自的Health.)
T: Gogo and Tom feel sick today. How are you today Please talk about your health with each other by using the sentence patterns:
What’s wrong with you (What’s the matter with you )

(3)Watch the pictures and talk about others' health with each other.
(看图,讨论其他人的Health。)
T: Look, children! What’s the matter with them Please talk about their health with each other by using the sentence patterns:

(设计意图:通过观看Tom的故事视频,引出自然的情景对话,调动学生的学习激情,复习Unit1& Unit3的主要句型:What’s wrong with you/him/her What should (shouldn’t) he/she do ,培养学生自主合作学习的能力,提高英语口语水平。)
2. Talk and guess.
(1) 根据Tom’s story继续提出问题。
T:Children, what’s bad for Tom
S: Too much junk food.
T: We should have good habits and we’ll be healthy. What’s good for us What’s bad for us Let’s talk in groups. 让学生分组讨论,并派代表回答。
(2) Listen, watch, talk and play a guessing game.
听音频(关于Jane和Ken的habits),通过PPT显示“幸运轮”,让学生们看,分组讨论、猜:What’s good for Ken What’s bad for Jane
转动“幸运轮”,显示正确答案,给优胜组加分。
(设计意图:以Tom’s story引出话题,复习句型:What’s good/bad for us Go to bed early/late. 再通过玩“幸运轮”猜谜游戏, 激发学习兴趣,培养小组合作的精神,最终巩固相关的句型和词汇,并为下一步Activity One做铺垫,并继续调动学生的学习激情。)
Step3. Activity One (We're good helpers!)
(1)继续根据Tom’s story提出问题。
T: Tom has a stomachache and has a cough. He should go to see a doctor. Who takes him to the hospital Do they know the way to the hospital Where’s the hospital
S: Go straight. Turn right at the corner. The hospital is on the right.
(2)教师显示地图让学生们当 helpers, 告诉 Gogo, Tony, Jenny, Lisa 这几位朋友所找地方的路径。
T:Children! Gogo, Tony,Jenny and Lisa want to go to different places. But they don't know the way. Let's help them. Now, talk in groups…
e.g. Gogo wants to see the doctor. Where's the hospital
Tony wants to swim. Where is the swimming pool
Jenny is going to buy a new T-shirt. Where's the shopping mall
Lisa is going to read books. Where's the library
让学生四人/两人一个小组,每人负责讲一个/两个目的地的路线,然后让不同组的学生展示各个路线。(如:附件1 Activity 1)
(设计意图:以Tom’s story引出话题,复习句型:Excuse me. Where’s the hospital Go straight. It’s across from the park …通过看图、问路、指示路线,重点复习Unit2的关于Direction的内容,学生分小组互相讨论,培养他们的合作意识与创新思维。)
Step4. Activity TWO (We're good actors/actresses!)
1. Enjoy Tom’s story again. (让学生再次观看Tom的故事。)
Let pupils watch the video and enjoy the story again.
2. Act out the story or make a new one in groups.
学生分组模仿表演这个故事,或者编设新的故事对话,并表演。
(1)Look for your good friends, practice in groups. 分组练习。
(2)Show the story/dialogue in groups.分组表演。
3. Fill in the blanks according to the story.
让学生根据刚才所观看的故事内容完成填空,再检查个别学生的结果,给予评价。(如:附件2 Activity 2)
(设计意图:通过再次观看Tom的故事、然后让学生综合运用Units1-3关于“Health & Direction”的内容分组表演故事,并以“写”的形式完成拓展练习,以此提高学生们的语言综合运用能力和培养他们的合作意识与创新思维。)
Step5. Summary
1. Summary
教师与学生共同回顾本节课的内容,并让学生懂得如何把所学的相关知识进行综合运用,并赋予实践中。然后进行思想与健康教育:
* We should often help each other and we will be good helpers.
* We should have good habits and keep a healthy body.
