江苏盐城保护区又叫盐城沿海滩涂湿地，它位于江苏盐城市，面积453000公顷。地处江淮平原，太平洋西岸，为陆地生态系统与海洋生态系统的过渡区。582千米的海岸线，广阔的淤泥质潮滩，形成了中国沿海最大的一块滩涂湿地，孕育着大量的生物，为数以百万计的水禽迁徙提供了条件。该区是濒危物种丹顶鹤的重要越冬地，还是我国现存两个最大的河麂种群栖息地之一。
旅游区是挽救一些濒危物种的最关键地区，如丹顶鹤、黑嘴鸥、獐、震旦鸦雀等。每年来区越冬丹顶鹤达到千余只，占世界野生种群50%左右；有三千多只黑嘴鸥在区内繁殖；近千只獐生活在旅游区滩涂。盐城还是连接不同生物界区鸟类的重要环节，是东北亚与澳大利亚候鸟迁徙的重要停歇地，也是水禽的重要越冬地。每年春秋有300余万只岸鸟迁飞经过盐城，有近百万只水禽在旅游区越冬。旅游区还是我国少有的高濒危物种地区之一，以发现有29种被列入世界自然资源保护联盟的濒危物种红皮书中。

1.辨析：home， house与family
home 指“家，住所”，指一个人（或一家人）居住的地方，也可指一个人出生或长大的地方（乡村、城市或国家等）
house 指“家”时含义较窄，仅指“房屋”这一建筑物，一般指独门独户的房子，不指楼房
family 意思是“家庭，家庭成员”，与居住的房子无关。 当family作为整体概念的“家庭”讲时是单数；当“家庭成员”讲时是复数
