学情分析 学生在本单元Section A已经掌握了怎样学习英语的方式,因此为本课的话题“为他人提出解决困难的建议”奠定了基础,学生在本节课就能够较容易的提出解决方法,就会感觉比较轻松。
教材分析 教学目标 知识目标 熟练掌握以下词汇: pronounce, partner, increase, speed
能力目标 1.能用本课句型陈述自己在学习中的困难。 2.能用“Maybe you should…”,“ Why don’t you…”等句式为他人提出建议。
情感目标 面对困难和挑战,学会解决问题。并能在学习和生活中互相帮助,激发学生的主动性和学习兴趣。
教学重点 1. 学生能够说出自己存在的学习及其他方面的困难。2. 学生能够为他人提出正确合理的解决困难的方法。
教学难点 1. 学生能够正确使用提建议的句型,2. 提出解决困难的方法要切实有效。
方法解读 教学方法 情景交际法、小组合作法
教学准备 1.把握教材,了解学生在学习英语的时候遇到的困难,以及他们的解决方法。2.教师搜集相关资料,制作多媒体课件。

Revision Revise the ways of learning English. Ask Ss to answer the question: How do you learn English , and show some ways on the screen to help them. . Ask and answer the ways of learning English in pairs.
Presentation Learn the new words and sentences in this lesson. 1. Show some pictures about the difficulties in learning English in 1a on the screen. Read the words and understand the meanings.
Free talk(1a-1b) Talk about the difficulties the Ss have in 1a and other difficulties they have. 1. Get the Ss to read the statements in 1a and check their own difficulties.2. Ask some Ss to tell the class their own difficulties. And the teacher can give them some advice. 1. Read the statements in 1a and check their own difficulties.2. Write their other difficulties down in 1b.
Listening (1c-1d) 1.Listen to the tapes and complete the learning challenges in 1c and the solutions in 1d.2.Check the answers. 1. Play the tape for the Ss to fill in the blanks..2. Show the challenges in 1c and the solutions in 1d in the wrong order on one screen. Ask the Ss to match them. 1. Listen and fill in the chart.2. Read and then try to match the challenges and solutions in the wrong order.
Consolidation 1. Summary the sentences about how to give others some advice.2. Do a group work “Talk Show”. Ss work in groups of four. One student say out his difficulties, the other Ss give him some advice, 1. The teacher tells the Ss the difficulties she has and asks some Ss to give her some good advice.2. Ask the Ss to do a group work “Talk Show” to talk about the challenges and solutions the Ss have. 1. Work in groups of four. One student say out his difficulties, the other Ss give him some advice.2. Some groups share their talk shows with the class.
pairwork 1e Role-play conversations using the information in 1c and 1d.A: I don’t have a partner to practice English with.B:Maybe you should join an English club. Ask the Ss to read the conversation and make their own conversations. Some groups role play their own conversations.
