1. Show students some traditional art forms and ask question: What are they made of
2. Learn some new words.
Step 2. Presentation
Read the passage and answer the questions:
What’s the main idea of the passage ( It introduces some special forms of Chinese traditional art.)
Step 3 Reading
1) Fast-reading
Read the passage quickly and answer the questions
How many parts do you think the passage can be divided into Why ( Two parts. The first paragraph is Part One and the next three paragraphs are Part Two. The first paragraph is a general introduction and the next three paragraphs are specific details and examples.
2) Careful reading
Task1 Read paragragh2 and finish the chart about sky lamterns.
Task2 Read paragragh3 and finish the chart about paper cuttings.
Task3 Read paragragh4 and finish the chart about clay art.
