语法:that 引导的同位语从句
同位语从句一般跟在某些名词(belief,doubt,fact,hope,idea,news,possibility,promise等)后面,用以解释说明这些名词的内容。最常见的引导词是that,在从句中不作任何成分,但不能省略。此外,同位语从句的引导词还有how,when,where,why等,可翻译为相应含义。
I had no idea that he had already gone abroad.我不知道他已经出国了。
The text tells us a fact that smoking does great harm to people's health.
这篇文章告诉我们这样一个事实——吸烟非常不利于人的健康。
He can't answer the question how he got the money.他无法回答这笔钱是怎么得到的这个问题。
注意:
that引导的同位语从句最容易与定语从句相混淆。应注意,that引导同位语从句时,在从句中不作任何成分,但不能省略;而that引导定语从句时,在从句中必须充当成分,在从句中作主语时不可省略,在从句中作宾语时可以省略。
Have you heard the news that our team won the match 你听说我们队赢得比赛的消息了吗?(同位语从句,that在从句中不作成分)
The news that he told you wasn't true.他告诉你的那个消息不是真的。

when是并列连词,表示"正在这时(那时)”,构成并列句。掌握此考点的关键是两个分句的时态,分句1的时态根据语境判断,分句2的时态统一为一般过去时。常见的句型有:
Sb.was doing sth. when... 某人正在做某事,这时(突然)……
Sb.had just done sth. when... 某人刚做完某事,这时(突然)……
Sb. was about/ready to do sth. when... 某人正要做某事,这时(突然)……
Sb. was on the point of doing sth. when... 某人正要做某事,这时(突然)……
Sb. was to do sth. when... 某人正要做某事,这时(突然)……
Sb. was going to do sth. when... 某人正要做某事,这时(突然)……

(二)”感官动词+宾语+宾补"结构该结构的具体用法:
(1)常用于此结构的感官动词有feel,see,watch,observe,notice,hear等。
(2)宾补的形式有四种(以do为例):
①doing(强调主动及动作正在进行,宾语与构成宾补的动词之间为逻辑上的主谓关系)
Can you hear someone singing next door
你能听见隔壁有人在唱歌吗?
②being done(强调被动及动作正在进行,宾语与构成宾补的动词之间为逻辑上的动宾关系)I saw him being questioned by the police when I passed by.
我经过的时候,看到他正在被警察盘问。
③do(强调动作发生的全过程或经常、反复发生的动作,宾语与构成宾补的动词之间为逻辑上的主谓关系;不定式作宾语补足语时要省去不定式符号to,但在被动语态中不定式符号 to要还原)
I saw him enter the classroom with a book in his hand.→(被动语态)He was seen to enter the classroom with a book in his hand.

④done(强调动作已完成,宾语与构成宾补的动词之间为逻辑上的动宾关系)
