一、教学目标
1、知识目标:学生能掌握以下单词及短语:percent,online,television,although,body,such as,mind,together, die.并能掌握以下句型:
—How often do you...
—I...every day/one to three times a week/four to six times a week.
2、技能目标:通过对文本的学习之后,学生能做简单的饼状图并能写出 survey report.
3、情感目标:了解其他学生的日常生活情况,让学生们知道应如何安排自己的日常生活,向有良好生活习惯的学生学习,做一个有良好习惯的人。
二、教学重难点
1.重点:掌握本课时出现的生词及表达方式。
2.难点:阅读短文,获得相关信息,提高综合阅读能力。

任务型教学法,情景教学法,自主学习法与合作学习相结合。
五、教学过程
Step 1 : Before reading
1.Lead-in
Let the students watch a video ,then answer my questions: What does the mouse like to do every day How about you Do you often exercise How often do you exercise
2.Review the new words of this period.Let the students read them together.
3.Let students do a survey:What do you do in your free time Do exercise,use the Internet or watch TV Then answer:What activities do you think are healthy for the mind and the body
4.Finish 2a.
Step 2 : While reading
1.Read the tittle,and choose the right answer:The article is mainly telling us about .
A. after school activities B. study
2.Fast reading, find the main idea of each paragraph.And then match the columns.
3.Listen to the tape of 2a, underline the percent numbers and use another color pen to underline the frequency phrases. And then finish the pie charts .
4.Read the passage carefully ,then work on 2c.
5. Read the passage loudly and pay more attention to the underlined words.
Step 3 : After reading
1.Discuss the knowledge points on the leading guide papers in pairs.
2.Fill in the blanks.
Last month we asked our students ____ their free time activities. We found ____ only 15 percent of our students exercise every day. And 20 percent do not exercise __ ___!
