6．教学过程
Step 1. Greetings
Greet the students as usual.
Step 2. Lead - in
The teacher shows two apples and lets the students compare them in English.
Step 3. Look at the pictures：Compare the boy with the girl .
Step 4. T: 形容词和副词有三个等级：原级，比较级，最高级
比较级：两个人/物之间的比较 （必须是同类的）
形容词和副词比较级的构成: (Show the pictures .)
规则变化：
1. 在词尾加 -er ; eg: taller
2. 以不发音字母e结尾的加-r ; eg: nicer
3. 重读闭音节结尾且末尾只有一个辅音字母，先双写该辅音字母，再加-er ; eg；bigger
4. 以辅音字母+y结尾的词，先变y 为i ,再加-er ; eg: happier
5. 多音节词和部分双音节词前加more eg: more outgoing
不规则变化：
good / well– better bad / badly– worse
many / much - more little - less far - farther / further
记忆口诀：
比较级有规律, 词尾加上-er两兄弟;
要是以e来结尾, 只有小二(r)跟上去;
重读闭音节词要牢记, 双写千万别忘记;
要是“辅音+y”来结尾, 小艾(i)要把y来替, 再加-er两兄弟;
多音节词加上m-o-r-e, 你看这样多容易。
练习: 说出所给单词的比较级。
Step 5. 原级的常用句型结构
(1)表示“甲和乙程度相同”
1.甲 + be + as + 形容词原级 + as + 乙”。 ( be both )
eg：Mary is as friendly as Kate.
2.“甲+实意动词 + as + 副词原级 + as + 乙” ( both do )
eg: Tom runs as fast as Mike.
(二) 表示“甲不如乙…”
1.“甲+be + not + as / so+形容词原级+as+乙”
eg:My mother is not as / so outgoing as my father.
2.“甲+助动词+not+动词原形+as / so+副词原级+as+乙”
eg:He doesn’t work as / so hard as you.
练习：呈现讲解结束后，请两位同学站起来，同学们看着他们，进行比较，使用刚才的四个句型。
Step 6. 比较级常用的句型结构
(一) 表示“甲比乙更…”
1.“甲 + be + 形容词比较级+ than + 乙”
eg：Tom is taller than Kate.
2.“甲+实意动词+副词比较级+than+乙”
eg：Anna sings better than Helen.
(二) “特殊疑问词+be+形容词比较级，甲or乙 ”。
eg:Which is bigger, the earth or the moon
(三) “特殊疑问词+实意动词+副词比较级，甲or乙 ”
eg：Who walks more quickly, Jenny or Alice
(四) 表示“越……，越……”
“the+比较级，the+比较级”
eg：The more careful you are, the fewer mistakes you’ll make.
（5）表示“越来越..."
"比较级+and+比较级"
eg：Our country is becoming more and more beautiful.
Step 7. 常见的修饰比较级的词：
much，a lot，far，（…的多）
a little，a bit (一点儿)
even (甚至)
still (仍然)
eg: Tom looks even younger than before.
This train runs much faster than that one.
