在英语中,我们经常可以看到这样的短语,如:apple tree, paper bag, school trip, English test, boy friend, soccer game, baseball bat等等,这些都是名词短语,我们需要注意的是这些短语的复数形式。
We have three English tests this month.
我们这个月有三次英语测试。
There are many apple trees in the mountain.

We should use more paper bags instead of the plastic bags.我们应该多用纸袋,而不是塑料袋。
【注意】这些名词短语的复数形式都是把中心词(后一个名词)变为相应的复数形式。

选用on的场合:
1）用于表示具体的某一天及星期几。
如：on May 1（在五月一日）， on Saturday（在星期六）， on my birthday（在我生日那天）。
2）专指某一天的早、午、晚。
如：on the morning of New Year’s Day（在元旦的早晨）， On Sunday evening（在星期日的晚上）。
选用in的场合:
1）用于一天当中的某个时间。
如：in the morning／afternoon／evening
2）用于某个较长的时间，如在某年、某月、某季节等。
