一、教学目标

四、教学过程
I. Warm-up
1. Look and say
课件出示三组人物对比图片,教师引导学生描述图片中人物外貌。
设计意图:复习描述人物外貌的句型,突出人物外貌的差异,为引出本课话题做铺垫。
2. Look and think
课件出示Tim小时候与现在的照片,教师提问:What did/does Tim look like What are the differences
设计意图:为学习新知识创设情境,通过呈现图片和提出问题引起学生的思考,激发学生的学习兴趣。
II. Presentation
1. Look and learn
(1)T: There are twelve months in a year. In this photo, Tim was three months old.
呈现Tim小时候图片,介绍此时他的年龄,教师引导学生体会month的含义和用法,同时呈现介绍年龄的目标句型。
(2)呈现Tim小时候和现在的对比照片,引导学生体会cute和handsome的含义和用法,同时呈现描述人物外貌的目标句型。
(3)T: Now he is tall. He goes to junior high school.
呈现Tim现在的照片,引导学生体会junior high school的含义和用法,同时呈现本课重点句型。
(4)T: Tim is a handsome boy. Let’s look at a pretty girl. She is Sally.
呈现Tim和Sally现在的照片,引导学生体会pretty的含义和用法。
设计意图:图片与单词、句子相结合,帮助学生熟记单词并体会其在句中的用法。认识新词汇的同时也学习了本课的重点句型。同时为接下来的内容做准备。
2. Listen and answer
课件出示问题:
(1)How old was Sally in Photo 1
(2)What did Sally look like in Photo 1
教师播放Listen and say录音,学生听录音后回答问题。
设计意图:通过设问锻炼学生听取信息的能力。
3. Listen and fill
课件出示下列句子:
In Photo 2, Sally was _____ _____ old. Her hair was _______ and her eyes were _______.
学生听录音后尝试填空完成句子。
设计意图:训练学生通过听文本获取主要信息的能力。
4. Listen and judge
学生听录音之后判断句子正误。
(1)In Photo 3, Sally was about seven years old. ( )
(2)In Photo 3, Sally went to a primary school. ( )
设计意图:通过听录音,了解文本信息,锻炼学生听取信息的能力。
5. Listen and answer
课件出示问题:

6. Read and fill
教师呈现表格,学生阅读文本填写表格。
设计意图:引导学生全面深入地了解文本内容。
7. Listen and repeat
教师播放Listen and say录音,学生跟读录音。
设计意图:在理解文本的基础上,跟读录音,纠正发音。
III. Practice
1. Look and write
呈现Sally不同时期的照片,让学生根据本课内容,填出空缺的单词并对照信息梗概完成对照片的描述。
设计意图:加深学生对课文内容的理解和记忆。
2. Look and say
呈现Sally不同年龄段的图片,让学生去描述这些图片。

She was / is ... Her hair ... Her eyes ...
She went / goes to ... school.
设计意图:加深学生对本课内容的理解和记忆,同时培养学生口语表达能力。
3. Look and say
呈现三个人物图片,教师给出语言支架,学生参考语言支架对图片进行描述。
This is my brother / sister / ...
He / She is cute / handsome / pretty.
I love him / her.
设计意图:巩固学生对本课新单词cute, handsome, pretty的掌握情况,并让学生试着在句子中运用它们。
IV. Production
1. 呈现TF boys小时候的照片,让学生运用本课所学句型,去描述他们过去的样子。课件呈现语言支架供学生参考。
In this photo, ... was ... years old. He was ... His hair was ... His eyes were ...
设计意图:加深学生对课文重点句型的理解和记忆,同时训练学生的口语表达能力。
2. Show and talk
学生拿出自己不同时期的照片,展示给同学们并介绍:
In this photo, I was ... old.
I was ... My hair was ...
My eyes were ...
Now I am ... old. I am ...
My hair is ... My eyes are ...
I go to ... school.
设计意图:训练学生灵活运用本课所学词汇和句型,提高学生的语言运用能力。
V. Homework
1. 听读Listen and say。
2. 找出自己或家人不同年龄段的照片,描述在年龄、外貌以及其他方面的变化。
