1. 复习巩固词汇:famous, during, spend, everyone, countryside, pick, summer holiday。
2. 能够熟练运用本单元句型谈论自己或其他同学的暑假活动情况。
3. 通过系列课堂活动,训练口语表达能力和写作能力,增强自信心。
二、教学重难点
重点:复习巩固本单元学习的词汇和重点句型。
难点:运用所学词汇和句型自由谈论自己或他人的暑假活动情况。
三、教学准备
教学课件;教师打印暑假情况调查表等。
教学过程
I. Warm-up
1. Listen and sing
学生听并跟唱课本P13歌曲。
设计意图:活跃课堂气氛,调动学生的积极性。
2. Look and number
呈现四个短语和四幅图片,学生根据所给短语将对应的图片标号。
设计意图:复习本单元重点短语。
II. Presentation
1. Look and think
T: What did Jane and her friends do during the summer holiday How were their summer holidays
呈现Jane和她朋友们的图片,提出问题:“Jane和她的朋友们暑假做了些什么?他们的假期过得怎么样?”,从而过渡本课的复习环节中。
设计意图:承上启下,引领学生进入复习活动。
2. Look and answer
呈现关于Jane的图片和两个问题,学生观察图片并试着回答。
(1) Where did Jane go during the summer holiday
(2) What did Jane do there
设计意图:复习巩固本单元重点句型,训练学生灵活运用所学句型谈论人物假期活动。
3. Look and fill
呈现关于Lily的图片和下列句子,学生观察图片并试着补全句子。
Lily went to some _________ places in Beijing.
She went to the ______________, Tian’anmen Square and the _________________.
设计意图:复习巩固本单元重点词汇和句型,训练学生灵活运用所学句型描述人物假期活动。
4. Look and say
呈现关于Tom的图片,学生观察图片并试着介绍Tom的暑假活动情况。教师给出语言支架供学生参考。
Tom went to the ... during the summer holiday. He stayed with his ... He picked ... with his ...
设计意图:继续复习巩固本单元重点句型,训练学生灵活运用所学句型谈论人物假期活动。
5. Read and judge
呈现Jack对自己暑假情况的介绍,学生阅读文本判断正误。
(1) Jack visited London Eye and Big Ben. ( )
(2) Jack and his parents had a good time. ( )
设计意图:训练学生通过阅读文本获取有用信息的能力,同时学生通过阅读文本,进一步加深对本单元重要句型的理解和记忆。
6. Think and say
呈现下列四个问题,学生围绕这些问题说一说自己的暑假情况。教师同样给出语言支架供学生参考。
(1) How was your summer holiday
(2) Where did you go
(3) What did you do
(4) Who did you stay with
My summer holiday was ... I spent my summer holiday in ...
I went to ... I also went to ... I visited ... I ... I stayed with ...
设计意图:训练学生综合运用本单元所学句型去描述自己的暑假情况,做到学以致用。同时训练学生的口语表达能力和课堂展示能力。
III. Practice
1. Look and spell
让学生写一写本单元出现的重点动词的过去式,教师给出一组示例,学生模仿示例写出其余动词的过去式。
设计意图:让学生深刻记忆本单元出现的基本动词变过去式的方法。
2. Ask and answer
呈现课本P12图片,学生根据图片进行问答练习。教师给出语言支架供学生参考。
A: How was his summer holiday
B: It was great / fun / not bad. He went / did / watched / visited ...
设计意图:复习本单元重点句型,同时训练学生口语表达能力。
Think and say
通过思维导图逐一呈现樱桃小丸子和大头儿子的暑假活动,学生用所学句型去表达图片展示的含义。
设计意图:继续复习巩固本单元所学句型,同时训练学生的口语表达能力。
4. Read and circle
阅读两个小文段,然后根据文段描述的细节信息圈出地点及活动形式。
设计意图:通过阅读活动,检测学生对本单元重点句型及词汇的掌握情况。
IV. Production
1. Think and write
让学生想象自己正在度假,给朋友写一张明信片,介绍自己的假期情况。
设计意图:进一步复习巩固本单元重点词汇和句型,让学生在实际中运用所学句型,做到学以致用,也训练了学生的基础写作能力。
2. Write and say
教师将课前准备好的暑假情况调查表发给学生,学生根据自己的暑假情况填表格。然后与其他同学交换表格,在全班同学面前介绍其他学生的暑假情况。
He Jing’s summer holiday was fun. He went to ... with his parents. They visited ... They also ate ... there. They took ...
设计意图:使学生进一步巩固本单元重点内容,锻炼口语表达能力及写作能力,同时培养学生合作学习的意识,让他们在合作中获得学习的快乐。
