一、教学目标
1.通过Listen and say中关于新家的对话,巩固本单元的核心句型。
2.通过Write and say栏目,让学生从口头表达过渡到笔头练习,巩固运用所学词汇和
句型。
3.学生可以根据实际情况,尽量用丰富的句式,阐述自己喜欢某个场所或事物的理由。

1.能在语境中运用本课的核心词汇:all day.
2.能够掌握并运用核心句型:Why do you like it Because it’s so big.
教学难点
运用所学句型学会描述自己的家并阐述自己喜欢的理由。
三、教学准备
房子平面图、单词卡片等。
四、教学过程
I. Warm-up
1. Let’s label
教师出示一张房子的平面图和许多单词卡片,让学生看平面图,把单词卡片贴在平面图上。
study,bathroom,bedroom,kitchen,dining room,balcony,garage,living room.
设计意图:本活动可以激发学生兴趣,同时巩固上节课所学词汇,快速进入课堂。
2. Let’s talk
让学生拿出上节课中自己画的平面图,四人一组,两两进行交流,互问互答。
S1: Do you like ...’s home or ...’s home
S2: I like ...’s home.
S1: Why do you like ...’s home
S2: Because ...
设计意图:教师让学生进行互问互答活动,可以巩固上节课所学核心句型,同时为本节课的学习奠定基础。
II. Presentation
1. Look and say
教师PPT出示Listen and say部分图片,让学生看一看说一说。
(1) Who are they
They are Sally and her dad.
(2) What are they talking about
They are talking about their new home.
设计意图:通过让学生看一看说一说,可以帮助学生初步了解文本。
2. Listen and answer
(1)教师播放Listen and say部分录音,让学生听录音回答问题。

④ Do Peter and Paul like the new home Why

3. Read and answer
教师让学生读课文两人一组回答问题:Why do they like their new home
S1: Sally likes the living room. Because it’s so big.
S2: Dad likes the study. Because it’s quite. He can read and write there.
S3: Peter and Paul likes the garden. Because they can play in the garden all day!
设计意图:通过再次阅读课文,学生在理解文本的基础上,同时培养口语输出能力。
4. Follow the tape
教师播放Listen and say部分录音,学生跟读录音,模仿其语音语调。
设计意图:在跟读过程中,可以纠正学生的语音语调,养成良好的语音习惯。
5. Match and say
教师出示Listen and say部分后面的练习题图片,让学生搭配并说说。
答案:Mum: Why do you like our new home
Sally: I like our new home because the living room is so big!
Dad: I like our new home because the study is quite. I can read and write there.
Peter: Paul and I like our new home because we can play in the garden all day.
设计意图:通过书中课后练习题的角色小对话,可以再次巩固对文章的理解,同时巩固核心句型,在角色小对话中激发学生的兴趣。
III. Practice
1. Role play
学生两人一组表演Listen and say部分内容。
设计意图:通过学生进行表演活动,可以考查学生对句式Why do you like it Because it’s so
big.的掌握程度,将句型融会贯通地运用,并且表演活动可以增强学生的自信心。
2. Ask and answer
教师PPT出示几套公寓的平面图,让学生结对活动。
S1: Which flat do you like
S2: I like ...
S1: Why do you like it
S2: Because ...
设计意图:引导学生在问答活动过程中,巩固所学句型,同时在游戏活动中激发学生的兴趣。
IV. Production
1. Show and tell
学生展示自己家的平面图或者照片,在组内介绍自己的家,之后请小组派代表来讲台介绍。
S1: There are ... in my home. I like the ... because ... I don’t like the ... because ...
设计意图:引导学生在介绍自己家的活动中,在真实语境中巩固所学核心词汇及句型,同时补充句型I don’t like the ... because ...。
2. Write and say
教师出示Write and say写作部分,让学生写一写,之后向班级做口头汇报。
设计意图:本活动可以培养学生的写作能力,同时巩固并运用本节课所学句型,检查学生本节知识掌握情况。
V. Homework
1.将自己家的平面设计图运用核心句型: I like the ... because ...与朋友分享吧。
2.自由结组表演Listen and say部分内容。
