一、教学目标
1. 能够听懂、认读、会说表示频率的核心词汇usually, often, sometimes, always, never
2. 能够掌握句型:—What do you usually do with your grandparents —I usually play chess with my grandpa./I often write emails to them. I sometimes play table tennis with them.
3. 能够初步运用核心句型谈论跟爷爷奶奶在一起常做的事情。
4. 学会孝顺长辈,感受亲情的美好。

难点: 运用所学词汇和句型自由谈论跟爷爷奶奶在一起常做的事情。

四、教学过程
I. Warm-up
Let’s watch
播放一段名为Grandparents Are Special.的视频,学生欣赏。然后教师总结视频内容:Grandparents are special. We gather together for a special treat. We gather together for a special surprise. We come together for our family ties.
设计意图:激发学生的学习兴趣,让学生通过观看视频体会亲情的美好,同时也为引出本课话题做准备。
II. Presentation
1. Look and learn
(1)T:Linda’s grandparents live in the countryside. They live far from Linda’s home. Linda miss her grandparents very much. She usually writes emails to them.
教师呈现图片,介绍琳达的爷爷奶奶,琳达想念住在乡下的爷爷奶奶,所以常常给他们写电子邮件。通过故事情境的介绍,引导学生体会频度副词usually的含义和用法,同时呈现本课的重点句型。(教师板书:usually, She usually writes emails to them.)
(2)T:She often visit her grandparents at the weekend. What does she usually do with her grandparents They usually go to the park together.
教师继续呈现图片,介绍琳达和爷爷奶奶在一起时常做的事情,引导学生体会频度副词often和usually的含义和用法,同时呈现本课的重点句型。(教师板书:often, She often visit her grandparents at the weekend. What does she usually do with her grandparents They usually go to the park together.)
T:Linda sometimes play chess with her grandmother. And she sometimes play sport with her grandfather.
教师继续呈现图片,介绍琳达和爷爷奶奶在一起时常做的事情,引导学生体会频度副词sometimes的含义和用法,同时呈现本课的重点句型。(教师板书:sometimes, Linda sometimes play chess with her grandmother. And she sometimes play sport with her grandfather.)
(4)T:Linda thinks, “My grandparents always make delicious food for me. But I never do that for them. My grandparents always buy beautiful clothes for me. But I never buy anything for them. I will do something for them to make them happy one day.”
教师继续呈现图片并讲述琳达的故事,在此过程中引导学生体会频度副词always和never的含义和用法,同时呈现本课的重点句型。在故事的结尾部分,引导学生感受亲情的美好,并学会感恩,懂得孝敬长辈。(教师板书:always, never)
设计意图:图片与单词、句子相结合,帮助学生熟记本课出现的频度副词并体会其在句中的用法。认识新词汇的同时也学习了本课的重点句型。在引导学生学习新词汇、句型的同时,注意对学生进行情感教育,引导学生感受亲情的美好,并学会感恩,懂得孝敬长辈。
Think and say
教师提出问题:“What do you usually do with your grandparents ”,然后总结本课出现的5个频度副词的用法,引导学生试着运用这些频度副词作答。(教师板书:What do you usually do with your grandparents I always / usually / often / sometimes / never ...)
设计意图:学习完频度副词和本课的重点句型后,马上进行总结,并让学生练习使用所学词汇和句型,帮助学生巩固所学知识。
3. Listen and choose
听文章音频,从方框内选择正确的频度副词。
设计意图:进一步听的活动,锻炼学生从听的过程中提取文章具体信息的能力。
4. Read and answer
让学生听音频,回答课件上的两个问题。
设计意图:让学生了解课文内容,加深对本课所学频度副词和重点句型的理解,同时通过听和阅读的训练,提升学生的听力和阅读理解能力。
5. Read and judge
听文章并判断句子正误。教师PPT出示文章具体细节的句子,让学生在听力之后进行判断正误的活动。
设计意图:通过听力活动后的综合练习,帮助学生进一步了解文章大意。
6. Listen and repeat
教师播放Listen and say录音,学生跟读录音。
设计意图:在理解文本的基础上,跟读录音,纠正发音。
III. Practice
1. Role-play
四个学生一组,表演本课对话。
设计意图:加深学生对本课内容的理解和记忆,同时培养学生口语表达能力。
2. Look and talk
呈现课本图片,给出语言支架,让学生两人一组谈论图中人物和爷爷奶奶在一起时常做的事情。

呈现琳达和爷爷奶奶的一组图片,给出频度副词和语言支架,让学生说一说琳达和爷爷奶奶在一起常做的事情。

Linda often ... She sometimes ... with her ... She sometimes ...
Linda’s grandparents always ... for her. They always ... But Linda never ... for them.
设计意图:加深学生对本课频度副词的理解和记忆,让学生试着运用这些单词去表达思想,训练学生的语言运用能力和口语表达能力。
4. Look and say
呈现一个表格,表格中展示了一些和爷爷奶奶在一起常做的事情,并标注出做这件事情的频率,课件给出语言支架,让学生参考语言支架,运用合适的频度副词描述一下表格内容。

5. Look and talk
课件呈现一组图片,给出语言支架,学生两人一组进行对话练习,参考图片和语言支架谈论彼此周末经常做的事情。

IV. Production
Ask and report
学生询问小组成员经常和爷爷奶奶在一起做些什么事情,一边询问一边记录,然后整理汇报。课件给出语言支架供学生参考。

Report:

V. Homework
1. 听读Listen and say。
