Unit2 Looking for a hospital教学设计
一、教材分析
本课时选自粤人民2011课标版三年级起点《英语》六年级上册Unit2 looking for a hospital的第三课时的复习课，主要复习巩固有关问路的词汇和句型以及拓展，培养学生综合运用能力。
本课时主要复习内容如下：
1. 有关道路指向的词汇：turn left,turn right,go straight,across from,corner,street,traffic light,bus stop.
2. 重点句型：Excuse me, where is the hospital
Go straight. It’s across from the park.
Turn left at the corner. It’s next to the supermarket.
3. 拓展句型：How can I get there
How long does it take
4.语音知识：or的发音规律。
三四五年级时学生已经学过的句型： What can you see？ I can…
What game do you like？/What’s your favourite game I like…这些都为本课的学习打下了基础。
二、学情分析
本课的教学对象为六年级学生，经过三年的英语学习，他们掌握了一定的英语语言知识，初步形成了一定的听、说、读、写能力，学习策略也得到了不同程度的发展，这个阶段的孩子好奇心强，愿意接受新鲜事物，渴望把英语学好，但又有注意力不稳定、不持久的特点，所以老师要采用灵活多样的教学方法，尽量为学生创造情景，带动学生学习英语的气氛，提高孩子们的英语能力。
三、教学目标
【语言知识目标】
4. 1.复习8个有关道路的重点词汇turn left,turn right,go straight,across from,corner,street,traffic light,bus stop.
5. 2．复习重点句型Excuse me, where is the hospital
Go straight. It’s across from the park.
Turn left at the corner. It’s next to the supermarket.
3.了解or的发音规律。
4.拓展句型 What can you see？ I can…
What game do you like？/What’s your favourite game I like…
【语言能力目标】
通过学习，学生能借助图片来理解如何问路，培养学生用英语进行日常交际，用英语解决问题的能力。
【情感态度目标】
1.关注学生在学习过程中积极思考的情感体验。
2.通过活动让学生积极自主地体验实践，养成团结合作的学习方式。
3.在教学中渗透情感教育，引导学生做一个全面发展的人。
【学习策略目标】
本课通过情景式，探究式等教学，使得学生在情境中积极自主地体验学习。采用游戏、猜图片、小组合作等方式让学生“学中乐，乐中学”。
【文化意识目标】
通过本课的学习让学生知道学生的生活中除了要努力学习，还要培养其他方面的兴趣，如美术、音乐、体育等，做一个全面发展的对社会有用的人。

6. 1.用于描述现在进行时的句型。Excuse me, where is the hospital

五、教学过程
Step1 Greetings
T：Hello，boys and girls. How are you today Ss: I’m fine.
T: Today we are going to revise Unit2 Looking for a hospital. And during this class we‘ll have a competition. Btoday , we will learn Unit 2 : Looking for a hospital, now,I will divide you into 4 groups, group 1, group 2, group 3, and group 4, and let’s see , which group can get here first ,and this group is the winner. Understand
Now, this time, let me ask some questions.
1) boys and girls, How are you
2) What’s the weather like today
3) Do you like the sunny day
4) What day is it today It’s Thursday.
5) What’s the date today It’s May 30th.
6) Children’s Day is coming. What are you going to do
7) Where are you going
Step2 Presentation
1) 1．Let’s travel in Zhuhai and we can play some interesting games. Then all of you will be happy.Look, Zhuhai is a beautiful city, there are many famous places. Fisher Girl, Opera House, Haibin Park. Shall we go and have a good trip Ok. Now, Let’s sing and begin our happy trip.
2) Left left right right ,go turn around gogogo
3) Here comes the Fisher Girl. Look , how beautiful the fisher girl is.there are many frogs here, let’s play the game. Let’s read . corner, (看碟，学习语音单词)
4) This part ,you did good job. Let’s go on. Sing and have a nice trip, left left right right , go ,turn around , gogogo. Now ,we have arrived in Zhuhai Opera House. There will have a performance , before watching ,two questions are for you. First, What’s wrong with the boy No.2, where is the boy going Let’s watch the performance and think about the two questions.Now, We have watched the performance, answer my question, What’s wrong with the boy Where is he going He is going to the hospital. Right He don’t know the way to the hospital. So , this class, we will learn how to ask the way.
5) Look here ,sometimes maybe we have a stomachache, sometimes we have a toothache, and have a cold and fever, even sometimes we hurt our arm or feet, then ,what should we do Maybe We should take the boy or girl to the hospital. So let’s learn how to ask the way: A:Excuse me, where is the hospital (This is our school) B:Go straight, turn right at the corner. Then go straight. What can we see We can see the Bank of China, Wanjia supermarket, New Yuanming Palace, Lost City. The hospital is next to Lost City. It’s on your right. Repeat together.
6) Practice with your partners. Who can try (three groups come and act out )Ok, good job again.
7) Let’s go on , left left right right go , turn around gogogo. This time , we have arrived Haibin Park. Look, so many rides here, which one do you like best
8) Find the rides you like and ask your partner :how to get there.
9) A: Excuse me. How to get to the rollar coaster
B: Go down this street, turn left at the 2nd corner. Then go straight. You can see the rollar coaster is on your right.
A: Thank you.
B: You are welcome.
10) Now, boys and girls ,Children’s day is coming, you can visit these places. Wish you have a good trip. And , at the same time ,to be a good volunteer guide and often help others. We can learn from the volunteers ,let’s listen and learn.
