Teaching Plan: Unit 3 Staying Healthy (Revision)
教材:粤人2011课标版三年级起点《英语》六年级上册(Book 6)
一、学情分析 本节课的教学对象是小学六年级的学生,年龄大约是12-13岁。他们活泼开朗,敢于开口,乐于模仿,能积极参与课堂活动。在学习本单元之前,学生已经有一定的词汇、句型知识储备,为本单元进一步的拓展和延伸提供了可能性。
二、教材分析 本课为六年级上册第三单元Staying Healthy的复习课,旨在通过多个活动复习和拓展本课的词汇和句型。另外,教师以学生熟悉的卡通人物小黄人Tim为主线,分别创设Asking the way; At the KFC; In the hospital三个情景,环环相扣,层层递进,让学生在情景中灵活运用已学的单词和句型,并在这一过程中为阅读与写作做铺垫。最后巧妙结合本课的评价工具渗透健康的生活理念教育。(An apple a day keeps the doctor away.)
三、教学目标 语言交流目标1. 能在合适语境中正确运用所学过的单词和句型进行交流。2. 能读懂简短篇章并能回答相关问题。3. 能在教师的引导下,运用恰当得体的语言进行自由表达。思维认知目标培养积极的心理品质:积极参与课堂,敢于开口表达,乐于同伴学习。2. 在学习英语中融合其他生活知识:通过阅读拓展,让学生了解到保持健康的主要途径:饮食、良好生活习惯、运动。社会文化目标学生能了解到健康的重要性以及如何保持健康。 通过给Tim写信提建议,让学生在活动体验中学会关爱他人,培养良好品质。
四、教学重难点 (一)教学重点1.能在合适的语境中,较为流利地运用What’s wrong with you What’s good/bad for us ...等重点句型进行交际运用; 2.能阅读相关小短文,掌握一定的阅读技巧,从中获取主要的信息。(二)教学难点能运用所学单词和句型,合理自如地进行语言交际。通过阅读,提取有用信息,并能进行有效的写作输出。
五、教学过程 (简述:本节课以学生非常熟悉喜爱人物小黄人Tim为主线,创设Asking the way; At the KFC; In the hospital三个情景,为学生创设真实的语用环境;以培养学生的核心素养为目标,从词到句,从句到篇,巧妙开展听说读写等多项技能的训练。)
Step 1: Warming up & Lead in Do some greetings and free talk. Guessing: show one small part of the cartoon character and let the students guess.T: We have a new friend here. Look, who is he Step 2: PresentationSituation1: Asking the way Tim : Hello! I’m Tim. I’m in Zhuhai now. I’m hungry. I want to go to the KFC. Where is it Students read the map. Ask students to tell Tim the way to the KFC.Situation 2: At the KFC Tim is at the KFC. What does he eat Students talk about the food in the KFC and judge whether they are healthy or not.Students talk about what Tim eats.Situation 3: In the hospital After eating so much junk food, Tim has a stomachache. He wants to go to the hospital.Role play: See the doctorDoctor: What's wrong with you Tim: I ...Doctor: What did you eat Tim: I ate ...Doctor: That's bad for you.Tim: ... ...... (2) Students get into pairs and practice. (3) Ask some pairs to perform in class.Step 3: ExtensionA passage about staying healthy Tim: I like to be healthy. It makes me feel good. But how to stay healthy Doctor: Here is a passage for you.Students read the passage and find out what’s important for us. (Healthy food; Good habits and exercise)Students come to the blackboard and write some samples for each aspect.Write a letter to tell Tim how to stay healthy.Share the letter in groups.Ask some students to share their letters in class.Step 4: Summary1. An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Keep healthy.2. Tim is going back home. Say goodbye to Tim.
