Teaching Plan《4 . Keeping clean .》
Teaching Material: Vocabulary and Target.
The message of this lesson: Train the Ps to keep the environment clean and beautiful.
About the children : Children are clever and active. They like to show their intelligence in class. They also like to play games in class. They hope they are happy in learning.
Pre -knowledge : This is the first period of the lesson. Pupils have learned the simple present tense and they can say out the simple drills. So in this class, they will learn the simple past tense.
About the teaching material : Pupils have no difficulties in saying the simple drills of the present tense. However, they may have some difficulties in saying the drills of the past tense.
Teaching aims:
1. Let the Ps understand and grasp the new words by using some teaching tools.
Vocabulary: warm ,cool, wet, dry, clean, dirty, tidy, messy
Target: Your bedroom was messy this morning. Is it tidy now Yes, it is .My books were on the floor this morning. They are on the desk now.
2. Let the Ps be able to use the new sentences freely.
3. Let the Ps be able to identify the simple present tense and the simple past tense.
4. Train the Ps to keep the environment clean and beautiful.
Important points and difficult points:
1, The use of was.
2,The difference between is and was.
3,Communicative fluently with one another.
Teaching aids: CAI ,Pictures, Cards ,etc.
Teaching procedures:
1,Warming up
a) Greetings to each other .
b) A chant.
c) Ask the children to listen to some voice and try to describe. The voices are mainly about different weather.
2,Presentation.
Show CAI to compare the weather and the things of yesterday and today.
1) Show a calendar to teach “is ” and “was”.
2)Show the pictures to teach the words“sunny ,windy, clean, dirty, wet, dry, tidy and messy ”and drills.
3,Read the new words and sentences together.
Step3 . Practice.
a)Pair work: Let the Ps practice the dialogue in pairs.
b)Sing a song “ what can we do”.
c) Games. (Play “Rock, Scissor, Paper” to pick up the flag.
There are some words they learned in this lesson on the screen. The students must fish the words to make a sentence.)
d) Listen to the recording and check the right answers according to the text material.
Step4. Consolidation and development.
a)Make a survey. (Go around and ask four of your friends about the things and fill in the form.)
Step 5. Summary.
a). Ideological education. (Show some pictures of Zhuhai to the Ps and tell the Ps that park and other places are part of our life. We should always do my best to make our environment beautiful and keep it clean.)
