Analysis of the teaching material 本模块的主题是自然世界，这一单元的主题是小动物。主要学习四只小动物：cat, mouse, rabbit, dog.学习句型“What is it It is a …” “Its eyes are…” 等句型。教师在教学过程中要尽可能多的运用直观教具，如图片，事物，动作等去帮助学生正确理解本单元的句子的功能和意义。从第一人称入手，逐渐过渡到第三人称。让学生体会由浅入深，由易到难，由理解到运用的过程 。
Teaching aims 能听懂、会说、会读和会写单词：cat, dog, mouse, rabbit.能听懂、会说、会读和会写句型：“What is it It’s a…”能用所学句型描述小动物的基本特征。教育学生爱护小动物。
Key & Difficult points 1.能用熟悉的句型描述小动物。2.能正确区别its 和it’s 并正确运用。3.单复数的使用。

Pre --task preparation1. look and enjoy Show some pictures of small animals. 设计意图：引出主题：small animals. 2.Look and learn Ask students to listen carefully and try to guess : who am I？ 设计意图：通过录音和动物的叫声判断出小动物，新授单词cat ,mouse, dog, rabbit.3.Listen and say According to the different sounds to make a quick response. 设计意图：通过一个快速反应的游戏来检测学生对新授单词的掌握情况。4.Let’s chant.
