Teaching aims:
1. Students can say: yellow, pink, flower, flowers
2. Students can say the sentences: Rabbit, draw some flowers. Elephant, color the flowers yellow. Monkey, color the flowers pink. What color are the flowers These flowers are yellow.
3. Students can say the chant: Red are the flowers. Yellow are the flowers. Flowers, flowers, I like the flowers.
4. Students can enjoy their colorful lives.

一、Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Warm up
1. Greetings: Stand up. Good morning, boys and girls. Many
animals are in our class today. Are you ready for the class
设计意图:互相亲切的问候,自然把学生带入到学习英语的氛围中,为下一步的教学做了一个良好的开端。
2. Show color cards.
T: Look! I have some color cards. Do you have many color cards Show me blue/red/white/black/brown. They are many beautiful colors. So today we are going to have a new lesson. Unit 3 Colors, Lesson 18.
设计意图:学生通过游戏,复习了之前一节课学习的颜色,并引出本节课课题,巧妙点题,流畅自然。并对下一步学习颜色作了很好地铺垫。
Step 2 Presentation
1. Free talk:
T: Look! I have a box. What’s in my box Can you guess A book Maybe. Look! It’s a flower. (Show a real flower.)And it’s a flower, too. (on ppt)
(1) Present the word.
(2) Ask two groups to read it row by row.
设计意图:通过猜测盒子里的物品,导入单词花的教学,引发孩子学习的兴趣。
2. Show some different colorful flowers on ppt. Then let
students read.
设计意图:通过展示多种不同颜色的花儿,让学生边复习颜色边巩固flower的发音,并且拓展了学生们的词汇量,非常有效的巩固方法。
3. The teacher show more flowers and say: Let’s count.
T: I have more flowers. How beautiful. Let’s count. One flower, two flowers, three flowers, four flowers. They are some beautiful flowers.
(1) Model. Repeat of the word.
(2) Write it on the blackboard.
(3) Ask Group1 to read it line by line.
设计意图:用真花数出花的数量,然后学习flowers,比较直观。
3. Show more colorful flowers on ppt. White flowers, red flowers……Let students say the words.
4. 设计意图:通过展示多种不同颜色的花儿,让学生边复习颜色边巩固flowers的发音,并且拓展了学生们的词汇量。
5. Teach the sentences: Rabbit, draw some flowers.
T: you are very nice. I want to draw some things for you. What am I drawing I am drawing a big tree.(repeat) And I can draw some grass. Who can help me Draw some grass here. Oh, that rabbit draw some grass. And I can draw some flowers here.
(1) Present the sentence: draw some flowers.
(2) Model. Repeat.
(3) Ask students to read row by row.
(4) Ask two students to draw some flowers on the blackboard. And say: I need some animals to help me.

设计意图:通过画画演示词组,更直观,请学生们扮演的小动物们来帮忙,学习了称呼语的教学,学生易于理解。
6. Teach the word: yellow.
T: I want to color the tree now. I can color the tree green. Next, I can color the flowers red. (Write on the blackboard and repeat) Then I can color the flowers blue.(repeat)I can color the flowers. Are they red They are yellow.
(1) Model. Repeat.
(2) Ask G1 to read it two by two.
(3)Show some yellow things to consolidate the word.
设计意图:通过旧句型:Color the flowers red.引出新词yellow的教学,词不离句,句不离词。学完新词,用更多的黄色事物加以巩固,有所拓展。
7. T:Oh, I want to color my flowers yellow.(point at the blackboard).Who can help me
Then the teacher ask students to color. T: I want the elephants to help me. Elephant, color the flowers yellow. (repeat)
设计意图:让带着头饰的学生们帮忙涂色,引出了称呼语的教学。
8.Teach the word: pink.
Show a car on the ppt. Then the teacher says: I have some magic. I can change it. A yellow car, a green car, a blue car, is this red It’s pink.
(1)Model. Repeat.
(2)Ask G1 to read it row by row.
(3)Show more pink things to ask the students read.
设计意图:在ppt上利用小汽车不停变色来引出单词pink,学生们十分兴奋。举出更多粉色的事物,巩固了pink 的学习,拓展了 词汇。
9.T: There are two flowers left. Color the flowers pink. Who can Monkey, color the flowers pink. That monkey, color the flowers pink. Repeat the sentence. Let some students read.
设计意图:通过让学生涂粉色花,学习句子,学生感兴趣。句型直接带读,指读,避免重复操练的时间。
6.T:Look at the screen .Do you know these flowers Are they pink S: They are yellow. T: Yes, they are yellow flowers .They are sunflowers. So we can say: These flowers are yellow.
(1) Model. Repeat the sentence.
(2)Show the question: What color are the flowers Then the students repeat.
(3)Ask students to work in pairs for one minutes.
(4)Ask G1 asks,G2 answers. Then change.
(5)Ask some students to ask and answer.
设计意图:带学生认识向日葵的英文,并且令其认知向日葵也是黄色的,引出句型。再出示问题。句子较长,操练范围和展示范围尽可能大,给学生充分练习的机会。
7.Listen and repeat.
设计意图:听录音,整理新知,纠正发音,为后面练习做准备。
Step3 Practice
1. Choose your favorite color stick.
T: I have some sticks. Do you want them You need to choose your favorite color and say:a yellow flower, a blue flower, a pink flower……Then I will give it to you.
设计意图:让学生们选择自己喜爱的贴画,并说出相应的英文单词,大大激起了学生们说英语的积极性,孩子们非常喜欢。
2.Let’s have a chant.
Teach the students say it with actions. Then ask some students to come to the front. There is a match between the two groups.
设计意图:学生感兴趣的说唱形式,来复习巩固新知,并且以竞赛的形式表演,学生参与度高,可以达到训练要求。
3.A lucky game.
Students can choose a number they like.Then make a dialogue according to the pictures.If they are luck,they will get the most stars.
设计意图:让学生自己选数字答题,具有偶然性,学生非常喜欢这个游戏,在原来句型的基础上,也有了拓展性的操练。
Step 4 Wrap up
1.Let’s paint. Ask students to paint the flowers they like.
设计意图:学生在已发的简笔画上涂上颜色,然后贴在黑板上,非常开心,视觉上以美的享受。
2.Emotional education
Show the beautiful pictures. And tell the student:The spring is coming. There are some beautiful flowers in the spring. And the butterflies are coming, too. The birds are flying from the south to the north. But some people want to catch them. Yes or no The child wants to pick up the flowers. Yes or no There is big forest here. But some people throw out the rubbish into the forest. Yes or no There is a clean river in the forest. But some people throw out the rubbish into the river. Yes or no So we need to protect the surroundings. We have only one earth.
设计意图:出示一些美丽的花儿和风景图,告诉孩子们我们的生活环境有多美丽,但是还有很多破坏环境的行为,我们应该制止这些行为的发生,从我做起,做一个爱护环境的小卫士。
