 Step 1 Leading in1.Warming up by reviewing the important sentences learnt in Unit 1 like this:T:Good morning,boys and girls!T:How are you T:I’m OK./Fine,thanks. Then ask students to practice in pairs like that.2.Show some pictures to students and teach them to learn the new words:map,cup,etc3.T:The sentence “What’s this/that in English ” means “这个/那个用英语怎么说 ”.It is used to ask the name of something.设计意图利用图片信息,由复习巩固第一单元的内容自然过渡到 1a 的学习任务。Step 2 Look and write 1a1.Have students look at the picture and say out the names of the things in it.Correct their pronunciation.2.Ask students to write the names of the things.The teacher should pay attention to whether students can write English words correctly or not.Students check the answers in pairs.The teacher gives help in time.◆Step 3 1b & 1c1.Listen and repeat.2.Show the picture in 1a again,and then ask students like this:T:What’s this in English T:What’s that in English .3.Explain the difference between “a” and “an” like this:a和an有相同的意思“一;一个”,它们都修饰可数名词。an 用于元音音素(不是元音字母)之前;a 用于辅音音素(不是辅音字母)之前。比如:an orange,a pen4.Students listen to the recording and read after it.5.Students practice the conversation in pairs and then make their own conversations with their partners.6.Ask some pairs to act out their own conversations in front of the class.◆Step 4 Listen and write 2a and 2b1.Have students look at the pictures in 2a and say the corresponding words one by one.The teacher corrects their pronunciation in time.2.Students listen to the recording and number the pictures[1-8].3.Students listen to the recording again and complete the words under the pictures in 2a.4.Make up conversations with students:5.Ask students to read the words and compare “a” and “an” before each word.◆Step 5 Listen and repeat 2c1.Let students read the letters and words in each line first.Lead the students to find that all the words in each line contain the same letter and pronounce the same pronunciation,that is,the letter sound.2.Students listen to the recording and read after it.The teacher corrects their pronunciation.3.Write the five vowel letters and their phonetic symbols on the blackboard.4.Students read the words by themselves and experience the pronunciation of vowel letters in different words again.5.教师基于学生的发现适当渗透开音节的知识,告诉学生2c中的单词都是开音节,让学生观察表格,总结开音节的定义,即以一个元音字母结尾,或在元音字母后有一个辅音字母和一个不发音的字母e,这样的重读音节称为开音节。◆Step 6 Read 2d1.Let the students read the words in the first column,and then understand the pronunciation rules of the vowel letters in the stressed syllables.Have students try to read the new words in the first column.2.Let the students read the new words in the same way.◆Step 11 Homework1.Memorize the new words learnt today by heart.2.Make a dialogue with the sentences we have learned today.
