◆Step 1　Leading in1.First let students repeat the numbers 0-9.Then have a free talk.And then ask different students to imitate a shopping scene in a store,talking about clothing and prices in pairs.S1:How much is this purple sweater S2:It’s five dollars.S1:How much are these blue trousers S2:They’re seven dollars.Ss ask and answer questions about the clothes in pairs.设计意图教师通过情境设计,从复习已学知识入手,调动学生的学习积极性和参与课堂教学活动的热情。◆Step 2　Presentation 1a1.T:We have learned the numbers 0-9.Today we’ll learn the numbers 10-31 in 1a,Section B.(见课件)Teach the numbers.2.Listen to the recording and repeat the numbers.(Ask students to listen to the recording and learn the numbers.)◆Step 3　1b1.T:Now look at 1b.Here are the numbers 10-31.Ask students to finish writing the numbers individually.Tell Ss some rows of numbers are in the wrong places.Put them in the right order.2.Students finish it quickly.Ask a few students to check the answers.◆Step 4　Listening 1c & 1dWork on 1c1.T:Now class you will hear a mother and a daughter talking about buying clothes.First listen and circle the numbers you hear in 1a.2.Play the recording for the first time,and Ss only listen.Then play the recording again.This time Ss listen and circle the numbers they hear.3.Check the answers.(见课件)Work on 1d1.Let Ss look at the picture in 1d.Kate and her mother are talking about some clothes.Ask one student to name the various items of clothing shown.Ask another to point at the price tags and read them aloud.2.Now let’s listen to the recording again and check the thing Kate buys.3.Play the recording for Ss to listen and check the answers.(见课件)◆Step 5　Pair work 1e1.T:Now look at the picture in 1d.Point to the blue sweater and ask and answer like this:—How much is the blue sweater —It’s fifteen dollars.Have students repeat again.Remind them to use “is/it’s” with T-shirt,skirt,and other singular nouns and “are/they’re” with socks,trousers,and other plural nouns.2.Ss work in pairs.Ask and answer questions about the things in the picture above.◆Step 6　Discussion 2aT:Here are some clothes.But there aren’t any price tags.How much do you think these things cost Fill the proper prices in the blanks according to your practical experiences.Students finish this task.Ask some students to share their answers.
