教学重难点 where引导的特殊疑问句。
教学过程
◆Step 1 Leading in1.Show some pictures to express the positions of things.T:Look at the pictures.Where’s the ball (见课件)Ss answer the questions with on/in/under.2.Now look at the pictures(见课件).Ask and answer questions in pairs like this:A:Where’s the... B:It’s in/on/under...A:Where are the... B:They’re in/on/under...设计意图通过复习,为Grammar的学习做铺垫。◆Step 2 Grammar Focus1.T:Please read the sentences in Grammar Focus.(Play the PPT and get the students to read them aloud.Learn the grammar.)2.The teacher should remind the students to pay attention to is/are and my,your,his,their.T:When we express where something is,we say in/on/under.But we don’t say on desk;we say on the desk or on my desk,etc.The place is a specific object.So we use “the” or “my” and so on.Also,we say “Where’s my/the map ”.Can we say “Where’s map Where’s hat Where are books ” Ss:No,we can’t.T:Yes,we can’t.Because these things are specific.All of us know them.Now let’s practice in pairs.◆Step 3 Pair work 3a1.T:Now,let’s do some exercises to practice the grammar.Look at 3a.Some words are missing in the questions and answers.Can you please complete them Please look at the pictures,and pay attention to “where is/are”and the prepositions.2.Ss work by themselves and the teacher asks 3 pairs to act them out.3.Check the answers.(见课件)◆Step 4 Practice 3b1.T:Now please look at the pictures in 3b.Make up your conversations like those in 3a.Focus on the words is/are,it/they,and on/in/under.2.The class works in pairs.3.Ask some pairs to ask and answer in class.◆Step 5 Play a game 3cT:Now let’s play a game.First,let’s see how to do this.Student A looks at the picture on page 37.Student B looks at the picture in 3c on page 39.Ask and answer questions to find the differences between the two pictures.You can ask where-questions and yes/no-questions.Give a model:T:Where’s the schoolbag Is it under the table S1:No,it isn’t.It’s on the table.Ss practice in pairs.Ask some pairs to act it out.
