语法：过去将来时
过去将来时( 定义）：
过去将来时表示从过去某时看将要发生的动作或存在的状态。
eg. I thought he wouldn't attend the social evening, but to my surprise, he came.
我原以为他不会参加这个联欢晚会，但是令我惊讶的是，他来了。
eg. He asked me if I should be in the office in the afternoon.他问我下午是否在办公室。
过去将来时的表示方法
(1)would/should+动词原形，would用于所有人称，should只用 于第一人称。
eg. She told us that she would not go with us, it rained.她告诉我 们，如果下雨的话她就不和我们一起去了。
特别提醒 :
"would+动词原形"也可表示过去经常性、习惯性的动作。
eg. When I was small, mum would read me stories at night. 在我小的时候，妈妈常在晚上给我讲故事。
(2)was/were going to do表示过去打算/计划做某事或客观迹象表明要发生的事。
eg. I was going to see Mr Brown the next day,but the appointment was cancelled.我本打算第二天去看布朗先生的，但预约被取消了。
(3)was/were about to do表示过去正要/即将做某事
eg. When I got there they were about to leave.我到那儿的时候他们正要离开。
特别提醒:
"Sb.be about to do.…when."句型表示"某人正要做某事, 突然……"。
eg. I was about to leave when someone knocked at the door.我正要离开，突然有人敲门。
(4)was/were to do表示过去计划或安排将要做某事，如果计划没有实现，不定式要用完成式。
eg. He said he was to finish the work in a week,他说他打算一星期内完成这项工作。
eg. She said she was to take up the position,她说她要承担这个职务。
注意： 1. 在含有条件状语从句和时间状语从句的复合句中， 从句的谓语常用一般过去时表示过去将来时。
eg. I didn't know when she would come, but when she came I would let you know.
eg. The teacher said that it would be very difficult to make progress if I didn't work hard.
2.was/were+doing表示过去将来时时，仅限于go,come, leave,start,take off等趋向性（短语）动词。
eg. David was leaving for Shanghai in a few days.戴维几天以后 要去上海。
