一、教学目标
1．学生能掌握本课时的核心重点单词和短语，读懂2b文章。
2．学会用喜欢和不喜欢的短语，表达自己的喜恶。
3．学生能通过开展小组活动学习，掌握阅读方法，提升学生的阅读技能。
4．培养学生能够实事求是地转述别人的观点的能力。
【学习重点】
学会并掌握阅读技巧，掌握短语such as, try his best to do sth., not as/so…as的用法。
【学习难点】
通过阅读训练和交流，了解如何评价电视角色
二、教学过程
Step1. Lead in
1、Show some cartoon characters to the class,and ask them “What are they ”
2、Ask and answer the following questions:
Do you like to watch cartoons What’s your favorite cartoon Why do you like it
Ss discuss the questions and answer the questions .
Step 2. Pre-reading
Show a picture of Mickey Mouse ,ask the students to look at the picture and answer “What’s this What does it look like ”
Step 3.Reading Strategy :SCANNING
Explain how to scan a passage to get the main message of the article.
Step 4.Reading
Read and match(连线）each paragraph with the main idea. Ask students to read the passage using the reading strategy.
Then check the answers together.
Step5.Careful Reading
1.Ask to read the 1st pagraph carefully and finish the task on the PPT
Then check the answers in class .After correcting the answers , ask students to read this paragraph aloud.
2 .Read the 2nd paragraph and answer the questions on the PPT.
Have students discuss the questions in groups .Then correct it and ask some students to read the passage for the class.
3.Read Paragraph 3 and tell the statements “T” or “F”
Ask the students to read the statements on the PPT , Make sure they have got the meaning of the task.
Read the article and tell if they are true or fause .Then correct the answers together .After that ,ask to read this passage together.
Step 6.Summary .
