(一)知识与技能目标
1.语言知识目标
(1)能“三会”掌握所学单词:need, smell, delicious, come on , first , sweet, salty, quite, healthy, hungry, wait, fresh.
(2)能正确理解let’s talk 中的日常用语:

(4)能初步运用本课时所学的单词、句型谈论不同食物的口味和特征。

1.学生乐于参与各种英语实践活动,并敢于用英语进行表达。

五年级的学生经过两年多的英语学习,对英语有了一定的认识和较大的兴趣,已形成良好的英语学习习惯,初步具有英语自主学习的能力。本模块谈论关于食物的话题,其内容生活化,对五年级的学生来说学习内容难度不算太大,在教师创设的学习情景下,学生很容易能联系生活学习英语,因此学生会积极参与课堂。

3.play a game (复习食物单词):chicken, fish, ice cream, meat, chocolate, vegetables, dumplings, eggs, sandwiches.(学习单词 delicious,并板书)
4.出示小组评价图。

1. 呈现图片,整体学习并巩固单词 hot, sweet,salty, fresh, healthy.
2. 结合图片,学习并初步操练句型:What do you think of the ... It is/looks ... . /They are /look....
学习课文
(1)揭示课题,学习单词hungry, need, wait ,smell,并导入课文;
(2)观看课文动画,完成填空练习;

(3)跟读课文,完成T/F练习(学习新单词come on, first,quite);
