“be about to do sth. …when . . .”结构中,
表示“正要做某事就在那时…”。

as if (as though)引导的从句,有时要用虚拟语气,
从句时态的形式如下:
如果从句表示与现在事实相反,谓语动词用一般过去时;
如果从句表示与过去事实相反,谓语动词用过去完成时;
如果从句表示与将来事实相反,谓语动词用would
(could, might)+动词原形。

it 在此句型中做形式主语,真正的主语是不定时的复合结

总结it 做形式主语的常用结构有:
a) it + be + 形容词 + 不定式/从句
b) it + be + 名词 + 不定式/从句
c) it + 动词 + 宾语 + 不定式
d) it + be + 名词 + 动名词 (常用的名词有no good,
no use,等)
e) it +be+ 动词的过去分词+ 从句
