教学内容分析 本课时的教学内容为人教版《新目标英语》八年级 Unit 5 Do you want to watch a game show Section A 2d-3c。首先,本单元所呈现的语法,不定式作宾语,是《课程标准》中的五级目标之一,也是中考考点之一。其次,本节课是第五单元第二课时,Section A 2d对话以及本单元的Grammar Focus,整体来说是一节语法课。
教学目标 I.Knowledge objects1.Key words and phrases: discussion, happen, expect, joke, comedy 2. Key sentences:(1)Do you want to watch the news Yes, I do./No, I don’t.(2)What do you plan to watch tonight I plan to watch Days of Our Past.(3)What can you expect to learn from sitcoms You can learn some great jokes.(4)Why do you like watching the news Because I hope to find out what’s going on around the world.(5)What do you think of talk shows I don’t mind them./I can’t stand them.3、To train students to use want/hope/expect to do.II. Strategies and skills To learn to grasp the emotion of different words,such as love, like, don’t mind, don’t like, cant’ stand.III. Step 2: Lead up to new lesson Study new words.Lead to new passage.T: What other movies do you know S: Comedy.T: Maybe there are some jokes in comedies.... Teacher shows some pictures of new words. Students read and learn new words. To learn new words and lead up to the conversation in 2d.
Use of IT Use PPT to show the pictures of new words.
Step 3: Role-play the conversation in 2d 1. Listen to the tape.Listen to the tape and answer the questions.1)What's the discussion about in Sarah's class What kind of TV shows do Sarah's classmates like What does Grace think of game shows and sports shows What does Grace think of soap operas What does Sarah think of them What are Sarah's favorite TV shows Why does she like them What does Grace think of them Read again- mind mapRead the conversation in silence and complete the mind map.Role-play the conversation.Some students read the conversation first.Then act out the conversation.
