让学生明白事物是在不断发展变化的道理，培养学生积极向上的心态。珍惜父母及亲人给的爱，努力学习，回报社会。

1. 教学重点：
1）掌握本单元所学used to句型的用法，并能正确运用此句型来表达。
2）能综合运用本单元所学习的语言知识来写作与过去相比所发生的一些变化。
2. 教学难点：
写作与过去相比自己或他人所发生的一些变化。
3、教学过程
I. Revision
1.Review some words together.
2.Review the main story of Li Wen. Let students try to retell the story of Li Wen. Then, talk about what changes has Li Wen had.
II. Presentation
Work on 3a:
Let students write notes about how they have changed in their appearance, personality and hobbies. Then talk with a partner about the changes.
Write the notes on a piece of paper.

Then,let students talk about the changes by using“used to”.
III.Writing
Work on 3b.
1. Tell students what they should do.
Write about how you have changed. What did you use to be like Which change is the most important one and why
2. 写作指导
Try to write two paragraphs.
Paragraph 1: General introduction about the changes in your life
Paragraph 2: The most important change and how it happened.
3. Let students try to write a short article.
4. Walk around the class and give help if necessary.
5. Let two students read their article.

1. Let students fill in the blanks with the correct forms of the words in the box.
2. Check the answers together.
