Austrian composer, possibly the greatest musical genius of all time
composed more than 600 pieces of music, though he only lived 35 years
Ludwig van Beethoven
(1770-1827) 贝多芬
German composer and pianist, who was the most outstanding figure in the transition between Classical and Romantic periods and one of the most famous classical music composers of all times.
He was an Austrian composer of the Classical period. His contributions to musical form have earned him the epithets(称号) "Father of the Symphony" and "Father of the String Quartet(弦乐四重奏)".
He was a friend and mentor(良师益友) of Mozart, a tutor(导师) of Beethoven.
