German composer and pianist, who was the most outstanding figure in the transition between Classical and Romantic periods and one of the most famous classical music composers of all times.
He was an Austrian composer of the Classical period. His contributions to musical form have earned him the epithets(称号) "Father of the Symphony" and "Father of the String Quartet(弦乐四重奏)".
He was a friend and mentor(良师益友) of Mozart, a tutor(导师) of Beethoven.

叶小纲
中国作曲家,出身音乐世家。中央音乐学院教授等。
叶小纲的音乐风格在同时期的中国作曲家中较为传统。他早年的创作带有先锋派的色彩,但从20世纪90年代开始风格逐渐接近浪漫主义。但他的“纯音乐”作品则风格相对激进一些。
他创作了大量的作品并在世界范围内演出:
1990年:《悲歌》
1991年:《冬》
1993年:《地平线》
2001年交响乐:《春天的故事》,
其主要影视作品有《半生缘》、《洗澡》、《玉观音》等。
