Teaching procedures:
Step1 Warm up.
Listen to an English song about friends.
Step2 Pre-reading.
Write the comparative forms of the words in 2a.Then use them to write five sentences about you and your friends.
Step3 While reading.
1.Underline the comparative words and phrases in the passages.
2.Work on 2c.Are the following statements true or false
3.Check the answers.
4.Ask students to explain the key phrases and difficult sentences.
Step4 Post reading.
1.Work on 2d.How do you and your friends compare with the people in the article Write five sentences.
2. Work on 2e.Which saying about friends is your favorite Which friend do you think about when you read this saying Why Write a passage.
Step5 Do exercises.
