Grammar---ellipsis
Will you join in the game
一I'd b e glad ______.
Nothing can stop him from sleeping ______________ .
【小结】有些动词后跟不定式做宾语时,可将其省略,而只保留to,常见动词有:expect, forget, hope, intend, like, love, mean, prefer, refuse, seem, try, want, wish, be going to, be supposed to;某些形容词glad, happy, pleased, delighted等后,to后的内容常省略

fall
to fall
work
to sing
a) He told me to sit down and to wait for a moment.
b) You are free to stay or to leave.

The temple which is surrounded by a wall belongs to the local government.
He told me that she was a beautiful girl and that she was clever.
a) You are unhappy. Can you tell me ______
b) Our teacher will come here, but I don't know ______.

c) ---- Do you believe he will pass the exam
---- I believe ______.
d) ---- Do you think it will snow
