Dear Peter,
How is everything going recently Winter vacation is around the corner, and the Spring Festival is coming. Knowing that you are interested in Chinese traditional festivals, I’d like to introduce the Spring Festival to you.
Falling on the first day of the first lunar month, it is the grandest and most important festival for Chinese people. On that day, windows and doors will be decorated with red color paper-cuts and couplets. Fireworks will be launched to celebrate the coming of the new year. It’s a time to ring out the old and ring in the new. What’s more, the festival emphasizes the importance of family ties. The dinner gathering is the biggest occasion during the whole year.
Learning that you are now in China, I sincerely hope you can come to spend the Spring Festival with us. I’m sure we’ll have a good time amid the joyful atmosphere.
Looking forward to your early reply.
Yours,
Li Hua
