教学背景分析
教学内容分析:本单元的话题是谈论中国生肖文化,这是本套教材中首次谈论生肖话题,学生曾谈论过动物名称,最喜欢的动物及宠物等与动物有关联的语言,学生将用“How often does each animal come around Every twelve years.”学生情况分析: 学生英语学习积极性较高,对英语学习有着较好的学习兴趣。六年级学生经过六年的积累,有了一定的听说读写能力,对于初次谈论生肖的话题有较高的兴趣,同伴交流、小组合作的学习方式学生喜爱和习惯的学习方式,有利于提高学生学习的参与广度和参与深度,从而提高语言运用效率。
教学目标(含重、难点)
知识与技能目标1. 能够在春节的情景中用“How often does each animal come around ” “Every twelve years.”谈论中国十二生肖机器轮回频率,并能在具体情景中熟悉询问他人作某事的频率及其简单应答。2.能认读和运用本课所学单词tiger, twelve, rat, rabbit,animal ,order 描述十二个生肖顺序和农历年。3.能够正确理解对话,流利朗读和表演对话。过程与方法目标1. 通过Let’s guess!活动调动学生积极性,复习并激活已有知识,并为新内容铺垫。2. 通过图片、举例、英英解释等方式,帮助学生理解enter, the year of the tiger, name…after;How often does each animal come around等难点。3. 本节课通过 “为Mike介绍十二生肖和属性”的任务活动帮助学生在小组活动中真实表达。情感态度与价值观目标通过各种小活动,激发学生学习英语的兴趣。

Who is he or she in our classroom, 二、While learning1. 学习对话(1)认识图中人物。教师出示并引导学生观察主题图,提问:Who are they Which festival is it How do you know Yes, from the Spring Festival scrolls, the lantern. the Chinese costume, we know it’s the spring festival. What are they talking about Let’s watch.意图:引导学生观察主题图,了解对话发生的时间和北京等。学生在教师的引导下尝试回答,思考问题,然后听对话录音,寻找答案。初听理解对话。播放对话录音,请学生听一听对话谈论的话题:“What are Sara and Yangyang talking about ” 学生了解对话大概内容,听出对话主旨信息:“They are talking about the twelve animals.”出示twelve animals磁卡, 并询问What are the twelve animals ”学生们交流答案,利用生肖图片理解词汇并把图片贴在黑板上。Which is the first animal 播放录音,听听Yangyang 是如何介绍十二生肖的,教师提出两个问题帮助学生理解对话:“ How did we Chinese name the years 再次播放录音,教师继续提出问题:“What’ the order of the twelve animals How often does each animal come around ”教师帮助学生得到答案,理解对话。理解“how often 、 every twelve years”,教师可以呈现十二生肖图片,按照顺序排列在黑板上,教师提问:“How often does the rat come around ”请学生把 Rat的图片从黑板上拿下来放在Pig后面,回答问题:“Every twelve years.”采用相同的方法理解功能句。再次呈现录音,教师提问:“What’s Yangyang’s birth-year animal ”对话理解后,学习四会单词tiger, rat, rabbit, twelve, animal, 这些单词在教材中均多次复现,理解和学习都相对容易,而“order”这个词在本文的含义是“顺序”,不同于点餐话题中的“点餐”,教师引导学生总结“order”的两个不同含义。理解认读单词和短语。Chinese calendar, 此短语在端午节的对话中曾接触过,教师再次呈现带有农历的日历,请学生观察有两种日期表示方法,了解中国农历。理解entered,教师可以呈现进入房间的动作,采用TPR的方法操练单词。认读标示12生肖的单词,采用看图说单词的方式练习词汇,并采用图片顺序的方式操练生肖顺序,帮助学生记忆。通过观察图片,教师讲解帮助学生理解单词enter, name…after, birth-year animal.表演对话。小组活动:朗读或表演对话。小组展示对话。复述对话。小组复述对话。师生进行评价。Listen and match小组核对答案。根据图中人物的属相,小组进行问答练习。三、After Learning:任务活动。呈现任务活动。Mike想要了解更多关于中国十二生肖和本命年等相关的文化 你能帮帮他吗?呈现任务1:Twelve animals 出示句子并贴在黑板上: We Name…after They are rat, ox…Each animal come around…2016 is the year of the … 呈现任务2:Birth-year animal教师做示范: My birth-year animal is the year of… How old am I 引导学生猜测教师的年龄I love sports.
