2.通过故事阅读，帮助学生进一步理解核心知识点的用法。
3.能根据句型结构复述故事。
情感态度：
让学生更深刻的认识到人与树，人与自然的朋友关系，提醒学生应合理砍伐并使用树木，多植树造林。
教学重难点：
重点：
学生能听懂、会读、会说单词及词组 miss，match, have to, cut…down, cut into。能进一步理解并运用句型We use...to....说明木头对人类的用途。
难点:
学生能根据句型结构复述故事内容。

教学过程
Step1： Pre-task
1、Greetings：Do you have a friend Who is your friend How is your friend What do you usually do together
2、Revision：通过图片欣赏复习大树对人类的用途。
（漂亮的图片配上文字和音乐，让学生迅速的融入情境中）
Step2: While -task
1.总结学生发言并引出本节课核心主人公
T: Trees are very important for us. So trees are our friends. Trees are birds’ friends too.
2.出示图1 They’re friends. What does the bird often do in the tree 听图一录音。
What’s their name
出示辅助文本一：Bird：Hello, I’m Miss bird. I like singing. La la la…
Mr tree: Hello, I’m Mr Tree I’m tall and big.
Together ：We are good friends. We are happy.
3.出示图片 How is the bird now Why Where is Mr Tree
(让学生带着问题初步看完整的故事视频，学生阅读故事之后回答问题，检测他们对故事的理解程度。)
4. Let’s help Miss Bird to find Mr Tree.
出示图2： Which season is it？Winter comes. They miss each other.(带着学生感受大树和小鸟相互思念的情感)
出示图3：What do the workers do They cut him down and took him to a factory.用视频帮助学生理解cut down

学生回忆大树的用途，分析Mr Tree会在哪个工厂，突破factory这个知识点。

并用动画帮助学生理解match ，matches，the last one，并用这些词组造句。

(学生模仿小鸟的语言升华情感教育。)
Step 3: Post-task
1.学生分角色仿读课文。
2.学生根据关键词提示复述小鸟和树的故事。
3.让学生写一写 The bird is so sad. What do you want to say to her What do you want to do for her
4.学生欣赏小姑娘为小鸟做的事情，升华本课的情感。
