Unit 4 I used to be afraid of the dark.
Section A (Grammar Focus—4c)
一、教学目标:
1. 语言知识目标:
1) 能学习并掌握短语used to 的意义及其拓展重要句型be used to doing sth. 和 be used to do sth.的用法。
2 ) 能掌握以下句型:
Used to 的相关句型结构:
肯定句:Sb. used to do sth./ be +adj. 表达的意义及用法。
否定句:Sb. didn’t use/ usedn’t to do sth.
一般疑问句:Did sb/sth. use to do sth.
反意疑问句:sb. used to do sth, didn’t / usedn’t sb
3)能够掌握谈论自己以及某人某物过去常常做什么或者是什么样的,
能运用句型be used to doing.句型谈论某人某物习惯于做某事,运用句型be used to do sth.谈论某物被用来做什么。
2. 过程与方法:
本课主讲Grammar focus及引导学生学以致用,我将通过游戏简单复习引入;接着通过朗读、理解句意及带领学生归纳总结used to的各种句型意义及用法,设置动感、配乐的竞赛游戏实战演练,贯彻学法等各种有效的方法指导学生完成一系列任务型活动。
3.情感态度价值观目标:
该部分的学习内容贴近学生的成长生活,谈论的话题是过去常常做什么,或过去是什么样子的。通过操练句型、互相了解师生间过去的经历,便于增进师生感情,并激励彼此成长和进步。
二、教学重难点
1. 教学重点:
1) 学习掌握短语used to的意义及相关的句型结构和用法。
2. 教学难点:
1) 掌握短语used to的意义及相关的句型结构和用法。
2)掌握used to的拓展句型be used to doing sth 和 be used to do sth.的意义和用法。
三、教学过程
Step 1 . Warming-up and revision
1. Greet the students. (板书标题)
2. Review the words of appearance and personality.
Step 2 . Lead --in
(1.) Ask one question , lead in the main idea of this class.
Step 3、Presentation—Grammar Focus
1、 Show the sentences of Grammar Focus , ask students to read and translate by themselves.
2、 Play a game , students in one group read sentence one by one ,the best group is the winner.
3 、Conclude the usage of “used to”
(1) It’s meaning.
(2) Talk Some sentence structures of “used to”.
(3) Add two sentence structures :be used to doing sth //be used to do sth.
Step 4、Play games to check what students have learnt.
(1) 判断正误—用希沃白板5中小熊运动会游戏检测学生所学内容。
(2) 选词填空--用希沃白板选词填空游戏检测学生所学内容。
Step 5、Part 4a write sentences about the past using "used to"
(1) Help students understand how to do the exercises.
(2)Ask students to share their answers with others , if the answer is correct, the group will get one prize.
Step 6、part 4b Look at the information and write sentences about Emily.
(1) Read the information in the chart , then I’ll help students to understand the method of doing this exercise.
(2) Ask students to share their answers , if correct ,she /he will get a prize.

2、 用法:
(1)肯定句结构:sb. used to +v.原
sb./sth. used to be+adj.
( 2 ) 否定句结构:sb.didn't use to / usedn't to +v.原/ be +adj.
( 3)一般疑问句
结构a:Did sb.use to do sth
肯定回答:Yes,sb.did.
否定回答:No,sb.didn't.
结构b: Did sb./sth.use to be +adj. (人或物做主语)
肯定回答:Yes, sb./ sth.did.
否定回答:No, sb./sth. didn't .
(4)反意疑问句:
主语+used to do sth., didn’t +主语?(前肯后否原则)
used not+主语
3、拓展要点:
(1) be used to +doing sth. 习惯于做某事
(2) be used to do sth “被用于做某事”,是被动语态,可用于多种时态。
