Grammar and Writing
The Analysis of Teaching Material
This is the third period of this module, which mainly deals with grammar ( attributive clauses introduced by relative pronouns and relative adverbs ) and writing. After learning this period, students will find it easy to define something and write sentences by using attributive clauses.
The Analysis of the Students
The students have learned attributive clauses in Senior One and most of them have understood the basic form and meaning of the attributive clause. Based on their existing grammar knowledge, I have designed a series of tasks and I believe they can complete them well.
On the other hand, there are still some students who are a little shy and are not confident enough in class, so I plan to use Motivational Time, group activities to encourages them to be more active and confident, thus helping almost all the students experience the happiness of development.

Teaching Reflection(教学反思)
In this period, Task-Based Language Learning and Cooperative Learning are employed to achieve the teaching goals. The computer- assisted teaching aids contribute to improving the efficiency of this lesson by increasing the input of information.A variety of activities are designed to achieve the teaching aims. The task cycle consists of a series of minor tasks, each of which focuses on enabling the students to reach higher levels of English learning skills. Each cycle of the whole class goes very smoothly. Students from different English levels can participate in the classroom activities actively, and the teaching aims are achieved by means of different leaning strategies.
Besides, this class is based on the core competence, especially linguistic ability and cultural ability. As for linguistic ability, a series of activities can enhance students’ foundation about grammar points as well as use it to express their ideas. As for cultural ability, students can experience and express maternal love, and finally they can be grateful and repay their mothers for what they have done for them.
However, this class also has some limitations, for example, some activities can’t be conducted deeply and extensively due to the limited class time. Besides, some slow students can’t finish all of their tasks. To these students, not only should I give them more help and encouragement in my everyday instruction but also I should create more opportunities for them to participate in my classroom activities and pay more attention to cultivating their English learning strategies.
