★Step1 Warming up
1. Greetings
2. Leading-in
(1)Show a gift from my mum and some pictures to lead express their feelings to their parents.
(2)Sing a song happily. After the song and guess the words and ask some students to guess and review the feeling words. “How do you feel Are you happy now ” Then lead to the topic lesson16: happy or sad.
(3) Show some pictures about different faces, and review some feelings words.
(4) Use those words to express feelings to lead to part 1.how do you feel today
★Step2 Warm-up reading
(1)Read the passage about feelings part2.and to learn the new words.
(2)Help Ss to live an active life.
★Step3 Reading and Listening
Reading:
1.Pre-reading
Ss read the passage by themselves and then answer the question. Why does Danny feel sad
Listening:
Listen to the tape carefully and pay attention to the pronunciations of the difficult words and the speaking tone of the sentences.
2. Further-reading
