Lesson 25: Jenny's Family
一、教学目标
1、知识目标
学会认读课文中的新词汇:member, son, daughter, drive, policeman.
掌握新句型:---What does he/she do =What is he/she
---He/She is a ....
2、能力目标:通过学习本课,让学生掌握重点词汇并能通过所学知识谈论他们的
家庭。
3、情感目标:让学生学会关爱家人。
4、学习策略:通过读、说和写,教师和学生共同交流,让学生在快乐的活动中学到知识。
二、学情分析
通过七年级上册前面四个话题的学习,学生们有了一定的语言基础与合作学习的能力,为本课的学习奠定了认知和语言方面的基础。学生们对“family”这个话题很熟悉,为本课的学习奠定了情感基础,但是他们不知道如何用英语来表达家庭成员的职业,这正是将在本文中学习的语言知识与技能。
三、重点和难点
1、重点:
掌握询问职业的句式:
---What does he/she do = What is he /she
---He/She is a ...
2、难点:能使用正确的表达方式谈论家人。
四、教学手段:PPT和板书相结合。
五、教学过程
Step 1: Leading in
The teacher activity: Show a picture of Deng Chao’s family.
Students activity: According to the picture, know about Deng Chao’s family members.
设计意图:先问候学生,再通过熟悉的人物引出今天的课题,有意识地选择一些与新知识有内在联系的已学知识作为导入,便于学生将新知识纳入他们原有的认知体系,降低新知识的难度。
Step 2: Presention
The teacher activity: Present Jenny’s family members and help students learn new
words in this lesson, such as member,daughter, son, drive, driver and policeman.
Students activity: Talk about the pictures and learn new words and sentences.
设计意图:用图片呈现新知,使词汇学习化抽象为具体,有利于学生对新学词汇的认知和记忆。
Step 3: Reading
The teacher activity: Show the pictures of Jenny’s family members.
Students activity: Act out the dialogue between the teacher and students or between students and students.
设计意图:通过师生和生生对话方式,学生在对话中掌握询问职业的句式。
Step 4: Playing the game
The teacher activity: Show the pictures step by step, let students guess what he/ she is.
Students activity: Guess the picture and answer he/ she is a ...
设计意图:在猜图游戏中,让学生观察图片并能准确地说出对应图片的职业单词,为后面对话和填写小短文做铺垫。
Step 5: Group work
The teacher activity: Give the dialogue template and fill the list.
Students activity: Talk about the family in pairs and fill the list, then act out the
dialogue with the partner and show the list content.
设计意图:小组活动方式,让学生们在对话中交流所学知识,对话后填写表格内
容可以加深对知识的运用。

设计意图:学生由于第一次接触英语写作,为了提高写作兴趣,降低写作的难度,所以以填空的方式完成小短文,这样还可以培养学生的学习英语的信心。学生间相互订正短文中的错误,进一步帮助他们掌握本节课的知识。

设计意图:让学生总结本节课所学知识,进一步强调本节课的重点词汇和句型。

The teacher activity: Show a short video and tell students to love their family.

设计意图:通过观看小视频,让学生学会理解和关爱他们的家人。
