Lesson 32 At the Supermarket
一、教学内容分析
本课是河北教育出版社出版,七年级上册Lesson 32:At the Supermarket.本课的对话情景都是发生在超市,内容涉及到超市内物品的英语名称、购物的英语表达以及价格方面的数字等,与同学们的实际生活息息相关。因此,教师在完成教学任务的同时,可以把课堂模拟为超市,让同学们体验英语购物的乐趣。
二、学情分析
学生具有一定的英语能力,并且对英语学习有着浓厚的兴趣,同时也有很强的表现欲。在教学时,教师采用给予学生由浅入深的任务教学法,教师提供多种形式,努力创设机会叫学生展现自己充分发挥学生的主体作用,引导学生自主探究。
三、教学目标
1.知识目标:
掌握词汇:fresh, follow, count, forty, fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety, hundred
掌握短语及句型:next to, No problem. look for, find.
What can I do for you / May I help you. /I will take it.
2. 能力目标:
掌握购物用语,能独立完成购物任务。
3. 情感目标:
在生活和学习中无论做什么说什么,都要有礼貌,做一名有礼貌的中学生。
四、教学重点、难点
1.重点:
1. 掌握并正确使用本课的单词和短语:fresh, follow, count,sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety, hundred,next to, No problem. look for, find.
2. 能够熟练使用句型:What can I do for you / May I help you. /I will take it.
2.难点:创设真实情境,感受购物中语言交际的快乐。
五、教学方法与教学手段
教学过程中对重点知识进行讲解、举例示范、用任务驱动、自主探究、分组讨论法、小组活动成果展示等多种教学方法激发学生兴趣,完成课堂教学任务。

七、教学过程
Step 1: Lead-in
T: Good morning , everyone. Before our new lesson , I give you a task to make the Micro Lessons. Try to use the new words and language points. To my surprise, I received so many videos. Do you want to see
S: Yes.
T: OK. I will choose some for you.
Then show the Micro Lessons to students.
......
Ask the students: “What are they doing What are they talking about What does the boy/girl want to buy Where are they?”
【设计意图】由微课引入本课教学场景,通过教师对视频内容进行提问引出本课题目:
Lesson 32:At the Supermarket.
Step2: New words and do the exercises of the new words.
Show the poster to students and ask the students : “What can you see in this poster How about the food Can you count this numbers ” Then lead and teach the new words. At last, do the exercises of the new words.
【设计意图】由海报图片引入,通过教师对海报内容进行提问引出本课新授单词并进行练习检测巩固。
Step3: Listening
Show Li Ming and his mother’s picture to the students. Let the students guess what happened at the supermarket?Then the teacher asks the students to listen to the tape and answer the two questions: (1) What does Mrs. Li want to buy (2) What does Li Ming want to buy
【设计意图】由图片引入本课教学场景,并让学生做听力,通过学生听听力和教师对听力内容进行提问让学生对本课内容进行简单了解。培养学生的听力能力和口语表达能力。
Step4: Reading
1.The first reading:
Self-reading:1. Read the text and answer the questions.
(1) Where are Li Ming and his mum
(2) Where are the potatoes
(3) How much is the red T-shirt
2.The second reading:
Group reading (underline and translate the sentences, and answer the questions )
(1). What can I do for you (你能找出它在文中的同义句吗)
(2).They are next to the carrots.(你知道它的同义短语吗)
(3). I am looking for the potatoes. I can’t find them.(你知道划线部分的不同吗)
(4).Please follow me.(你知道这句话的意思吗)
(5).I will take it.(你知道它的同义句吗)
The teacher give students 5 minutes to discuss and then teach these language points.
【设计意图】通过第一次自读课文叫学生对课文内容有了进一步的了解。再通过第二遍组内互读和讨论完成教师给出的目标知识。培养学生的阅读和总结能力。
Step5: Read the text
Let the students read the text in pairs. Choose some students to read in pairs and then read together.
【设计意图】通过让学生分角色朗读和齐读课文,让学生再次学习和感受超市购物。并锻炼学生的口语表达能力。
Step6: Work in pairs and find out these sentences
(1).店员询问顾客需求的礼貌用语。
(2).顾客表达自己想买某种商品的礼貌用语。
(3).店员向顾客指示商品位置的礼貌用语。
(4).询问商品价格的用语。
(5).表达感谢的礼貌用语以及答语。
Let the students answer and pay attention to “polite words”.
【设计意图】通过让学生小组讨论和总结出购物的礼貌用语,并提示学生注意是礼貌用语。为最后的升华部分做准备。锻炼学生的总结能力。
Step7:Make a dialogue with your partners and act out the dialogues.
Let the students make a dialogue, they can use the sentences like the example or use their own sentences.
【设计意图】通过以上环节的练习,让学生利用本课所学表演对话,锻炼学生的综合能力,大胆自信。
Step8: Exercise and play a game “Funny Numbers”
