新知探究 Step 3: Language points1.post(英)同义词是mail(美)(1)作动词,意为“邮寄”,后接名词或代词作宾语。post sb. sth.= post sth. to sb.意为“把某物寄给某人”。例句:He posted the recorded tape to me.= He posted me the recorded tape.他把那盘录音带寄给了我。(2)作名词,意为“邮政;邮件;邮寄”。例句:I want to send a present to Danny by post.我想用邮寄的方式送给Danny一份礼物。2.yet(1)作副词,意为“仍然;还”,常用于否定句或疑问句中。例句:---Have you finished your homework yet ---Not yet.(2)作连词,意为“然而;可是”,与but同义。例句:He is thin, yet he is healthy.他虽然瘦,但是很健康。3.address可数名词,意为“地址”,复数形式为addresses.4.top 名词,意为“顶部;(物的)上面,常用短语为:at/on the top of,”在……的顶端”。例句:There is a book on the top of the box.There is a yellow star at the top of the box. 5. Jenny and Danny are making birthday cards for Li Ming. She goes to look for stamps, but she has no luck.她去找邮票,但是她没找到。考向:luck的用法(1)常见短语:have luck with sth.意为“在某方面有运气”good luck意为“好运”bad luck意为“倒霉”have no luck doing sth.意为“做某事不走运”(2)luck的形容词为lucky,副词为luckily.反义词在其前加un-.
