教学目标：

4 Let the students act out the dialogues to develop their activities of life and study.

1 Master the phrases:regret doing...get/have a fever,get dressed,take an X-ray.
2 Use the words correctly:stomach, regret ，fever, pale, X-ray, pardon, Pain, examination .
教学难点：Use the structures correctly:I don’t feel well. You look pale. You’ll be all right. How are you feeling
教学思路：本课是九年级冀教版第一课，以Danny生病醒来，一家人来到医院后发生的事情将整篇课文展开，并以对话的方式提供给大家。首先询问学生“健康和金钱誰重
要？”“不舒服的时候通常会怎样？”以学生感兴趣的话题开篇，重点在于培养学生的学习兴趣。本单元的重点是生病时的日常交际对话。让学生在分角色朗读时尽可能多的记忆这些句子，在轻松愉快的环境中学到知识，培养学习的积极性。
教学过程
Step 1 Warming up
Which is more important , health or money
When you don’t feel well, what do you usually do
设计意图：新课开始，设计学生感兴趣的问题以调动他们的积极性。
Step 2 Presentation
1Teacher makes some actions to show the words: pain, Stomach, regret, pale, fever, X-ray, examination, pardon.
2Give the students five minutes to remember the words.
3The students read the text by themselves and find out the main phrases and sentences.

3 Listen to the dialogue and tick the correct answers.
1 What's wrong with the woman

A She should go to see the doctor. B She should try other medicine.
Step 4 Explanation
1 need 的用法：需要，做实义动词时，有人称和数的变化，后接名词，代词 ，带to 的不定式，动名词等。
eg.He needs some help.
He needs to look after the old man.
The bike needs mending/to be mended.
主语需要发出某一动作用不定式的主动语态to do;主语需要接受某一动作用动名词或不定式的被动语态to be done.即 人+need+to do物+need+doing; 物 +need+to be done
作为情态动词，没有人称和数的变化，后接动词原形，多用于否定句和疑问句，疑问句肯定回答用must,否定回答用needn't,don't have to.
eg.You needn't worry about your son.
Need I come tomorrow
Yes,you must.
No,you needn't./don't have to.
2 regret n.&v "遗憾；后悔”
regret to do sth. 对要做某事表示遗憾
regret doing sth.对做了某事后悔
eg. I regret to tell you that your application(申请）has been refused.
She regretted doing a stupid thing.
regret 后可接从句。eg.I regret what I did.
