一、教学目标
1、知识与能力：让学生掌握本课新单词和短语以及具体运用。
2、过程与方法：通过小组合作学习让学生理解课文内容,掌握知识
3、情感、态度与价值观：让学生意识到身边的危险并能及时给予他人提醒和帮助。
二、学情分析
本课是Unit 3 的第一课,有着承前启后的作用,为本单元的知识拓展和语言综合运用奠定了基础。学生已有一定的英语基础,但不太扎实。对部分基础知识掌握得不牢固,上课发言不太积极,回答问题声音较小。对语言的综合运用能力较差,因此需要充分调动学生的积极性,注重基础知识的掌握。
三、教学重点难点
掌握新单词和短语的用法,特别是知识点的具体运用
四、教学过程.
Step 1　Lead　in
T ：Have you ever climbed onto a chair to reach something Was it safe
Ss ：Yes.No.
T： In our textbook, Danny fell down, let’s look at what happened to him.
Step 2　Give pictures to show new words
Language points ：Let me get the ladder for you.
I think I’m tall enough.

Tell her we are taking Brian to the hospital.
