My favorite movie/book is Harry Potter. It tells us the adventure of Harry Potter in magical world. 　　
Harry Potter is very attractive（吸引人的）to our young people. Firstly, the magical world is very cool. Since I saw Harry Potter ，I dreamed of flying or moving things by my wand(魔杖）. Furthermore（而且）, the actors' performance is wonderful. In my opinion, Dumbledore（邓布利多）, a great wizard（男巫）, is a lovely old man. I idol（偶像） him very much. Last but not least, we don’t ignore the classical elements（要素） of Harry Potter. A true hero doesn’t depend on his talents（完全依靠他的天赋）. He must be brave and honest.

的动作。
构成：主语 + was / were + v.-ing + 其他.
用法：
1. 过去进行时主要表示在过去某一时刻正在进行的动作。
例如：
They were eating breakfast at 7:00 am yesterday.
I was writing a letter at this time yesterday.

例如：From 1983 to 1998, he was teaching at Yale.
