专题训练:学习一般过去时的被动语态。
被动语态需要注意的几个方面:
1) 在主动句中,使役动词make,let,have, 感官动词see,hear,feel,watch,notice等后接省略to的动词不定式作宾语补足语,在变成主动语态时,后面的不定式需加上,即“主省被补”。
e.g. The boss made him complete the work one day.
He was made to complete the work one day (by the boss).
2) 有些词,如系动词taste,feel,look,sound等常用主动语态表达被动的意思;
e.g. This kind of cloth feels soft.
The soup tastes delicious.
3)主动语态的句中若有双宾语,变被动语态时,可将间接宾语(人)变为被动句的主语,而把直接宾语(物)留作被动句的宾语;或把主动句的直接宾语(物)被动句的主语,此时间接宾语(人)前常用介词for或to等来连接。
e.g. My teacher gave me a book yesterday.
I was given a book ( by my teacher ) yesterday .
A book was given to me ( by my teacher ) yesterday .
4)含有“动词短语”的主动句变为被动句时,因为动词短语是一个不可分割的整体,所以动词短语中含有的介词不可丢。
e.g. Jack listened to his teacher carefully yesterday.
Jack’s teacher was listened to carefully (by him) yesterday.
5)动词不定式作宾语补足语
当动词不定式作宾语补足语时,要把主动语态中表人的直接宾语变为被动语态的主语,宾语补足语的位置不变。
e.g. The school encouraged Liu Xiang to train for the high jump.
Liu Xiang was encouraged to train for the high jump.
