Draw up a training plan that is right for you. Set achievable goals. Make sure you are running the right amount that your heart, muscles and bones can take without getting hurt.
Running trains your mind and body. Don’t give up, even when you want to.
Take breaks. Training too much can be bad for your health.
Lesson 3 is made of three parts. Part one talks about Jeremy's problems, including the mental problem and the health problem. It is a letter to Doctor Martin . This part serves an introduction to the topic.
Part two talks about long-distance running, including its benefits and guidelines. It is an answer to Jeremy, trying to convince Jeremy of long-distance running.
Part three talks about three principles of running. It is an exposition. It aims to advice people to take exercise in a scientific and effictive way.
