Language point
形容词和副词比较级和最高级规则变化：
1、一般在词尾加er或est。
2、以不发音的字母e结尾，加r,st。
3、以辅元辅结尾的重读闭音节，双写结尾辅音字母，再加er,est。
4、以辅音字母加y结尾的，改y为i，再加er,est。
5、多音节和部分双音节词在词前加more，most。
形容词和副词比较级和最高级不规则变化：
good\well 好的\好地 better the best
bad\ill\badly 坏的\病的\严重地 worse the worst
many\much 多的 more the most
little 少的 less the least
far 远的 farther\further 距离远的\（抽象）深远的 the farthest\furthest
old 老的 older\elder 年老的\较年长的
the oldest\eldest
A + be动词 + 形容词比较级 + than + B.
Li Ming is shorter than Lucy.
当我们对两个人或事物进行比较时，通常要用到比较级。常用句型如下:
