教材分析 This period is the first lesson of Unit 1. The topic of this period focuses on the article about the voyages of Zheng He. Students can know about Zheng He by reading the article and have an interest in great explorations. At the same time, they can master the new words and useful expression.
学习目标 Knowledge objectives: To master the new words and some useful expressions in this lesson.Skill objectives:1)Be able to guess the meaning of words according to pictures or context, and exercise specific image thinking. 2)Usage of key words. 3)Analysis of simple sentences structure.Emotional objectives: To express one’s own opinion about Zheng He. Thinking quality objectives:To let students have an interest in great explorations.

难点 Retell the Zheng He’s experiences and his explorations.
