[教学目标]
1、听懂会复述书上第一部分的对话。
2、学习并能由头运用语句Why are you wearing a raincoat Because it’s going to rain. 询问和回答有关原因的语句。
[重难点]
1．学习并能运用语句Why are you wearing a raincoat Because it’s going to rain. 询问和回答有关原因的语句。并能将这两句话合并成一句话。
2．能用why because and but so first then这样词来说句子或讲一小段故事。
[功能句型]
1．Why are you wearing a raincoat
2．Because it’s going to rain.
3．I’m wearing a dress because I’m going to go swimming.
[教学程序]
一、热身复习
1．歌曲导入：听歌曲《why why why》,问哪个单词出现的次数最多。进而引出上节课的重点why 和because
2．拿出表情图片，用why 和because来说句子。
3．出示表示天气的图片，请生用“It’s going to…”句型来预报天气。
二、课文学习
1. 初看图片
师：书上也有许多的图片，下面我们一起来看看。Open your books, turn to P36. Look at the pictures, please discribe the pictures.
请学生看SB第二单元活动1中的图，请学生试着来描述图中的情景。
2．听录音，找特点。
师：下面我们听一下录音，看看别人是怎么样描述书上图片的。请同学们仔细听，你能听到几组对话？他们共同的特点是什么？
生：全是用why 和because一问一答的句子。
3．听录音，并跟读。
4．再听录音，试着将句子写出来。
每放一句录音时，接暂停键给学生写的时间。如果需要，师重复读一下比较难的句子。给出正确答案，让生自己检查一下，再读一遍。
三、练习巩固
1．合并句子（练习将两句话并成一句话）
首先师以课文第一部分听力的四组句子为例，将两句话合并成一句话，然后请学生自己来完成剩下的三组，并找学生上黑板写出来。
例：Why are you wearing a raincoat Because it’s going to rain.
变：I’m wearing a raincoat because it’s going to rain
2. Correct the silly sentences（改正错句）
出示有错的例句，并仿照例句是如何改正的来完成剩下的几句话。
例：I’m wearing a dress because I’m going to go swimming.
改：dress swimsuit 或 swimming go to the theatre.
(1) I’m wearing a dress because I’m going to play basketball.
(2) I’m wearing a coat because it’s going to be hot.
(3)I’m eating noodles because I’m thirsty.
3．填空练习
用why because and but so first then来填空。
I’m eating a hamburger because I’m hungry.
I’m hungry so I’m eating a hamburger.
They are driving planes because they are pilots.
They are pilots so they are driving planes.
I can speak English and my sister can speak English too.
I can speak English but my father can’t.
(4) First Yang Liwei became a pilot, then he became a astronaut.
First Helen learned to read and write, then she wrote a book.
(5) Look, this is a photo of A and B. A is crying now but B is laughing. Why is A crying Because he didn’t do his homework yesterday. He watched TV. So the teacher critisized（批评）him. B watched TV, too. But she’s got a red flower. Why Because after school, she finished（完成）her homework first. Then she watched TV.
4．口语练习（有难度）
出示几组图片请同学选择自己喜欢的，试着用第3题的连词来说故事。
四、作业（完成以下任意两样）
1．（必做）完成练习册M9 U2。
2．（选做）写一段小短文并用上why because and but so first then
3．（选做）用（why because）（and but）（because so）（first then）写几组句子
4．（选做）抄写课文M9 U1和M9 U2。
