学情分析
教材及学情分析:
五年级的学生在英语的听、说、读、写方面已经奠定了比较坚实的基础。该班学生在英语学习上产生了浓厚的兴趣,能够积极按照老师要求进行自主学习。因此在谈论日常生活时,他们都能说出自己的亲身体会和不同的意见,本节课我把重点放在了新单词和句型上,为了使学生牢固掌握所学知识,在教学的过程中,教师起到了引导的作用,帮助学生把自己平时观察到四季的相关知识,运用所学语言知识在实际生活中灵活运用,从而提高学习效果。
本课是小学英语PEP五年级下册第二单元A部分第二课时:Let’s Learn ,read and match.利用描述天气情况的形容词如cool, cold, hot, warm, rainy, windy ,sunny, cloudy, snowy等单词,在以旧引新时,以不同形式学习 season, spring, summer, autumn, winter等单词。重点学习使用句型:Which season do you like best What can you do in …… 等提问,并能够根据实际情况回答。
教学重点、难点:
1. 正确书写五个季节名词并运用句型:“Which season do you like best What can you do in…… 在实际生活中运用问答。
2. 听、说、读、写单词spring, summer, autumn, winter和season。

教学过程:
Step 1热身、复习(Warm–up/review)
1. Greetings.
T:Good morning, boys and girls! How are you
Ss: Good morning, Miss Wu. I’m fine. Thanks.
……
2. Freely talk.
T:“What day is today ”来复习有关星期的句型及单词。
3.教师继续向学生提问:What’s the weather like today 引导学生复习相关天气的单词,T:Can you describe the weather in other words (让学生自由说相关天气,活跃课堂气氛。)sunny, rainy, snowy, cloudy, windy, hot, cool, cold, warm。
Step 2新课呈现(Presentation)
Let’s learn
1.由教师PPT展示,let’s watch a video,回答问题“What’s it talking about ”并通过看四季变化的视频引导学生回答:season. 然后在利用课件呈现单词season.
学习season,教师领读,学生跟读,大小声读。学生拿出手指教老师拼写在黑板上。
T:How many seasons are there in a year
S: Four seasons. T: That’s right .So we have four seasons in a year. What are they Let’s go and have a look.
2.PPT展示听鸟鸣流水声音,猜季节,“Listen, It’s warm. There are many beautiful flowers everywhere. Which season is it 跟读,高低音读,操练单词spring。板书spring。
T:Which season do you like best 引导学生说I like spring best.拿着卡片练习,接着让学生根据自己日常生活中对spring 里能干什么进行描述(用课件图片引导回答)教师指着图片进行提问:What can you do in spring?引导学生回答。
S:I can plant trees. I can fly kites.
3. 教师继续用课件呈现半遮住的summer图,T:Oh, look here ,it’s hot. I can go swimming. Please guess! Which season is it S:Summer.跟着音标听并拼读,自然拼读法。运用魔法手指游戏操练单词summer。板书summer。
T:Which season do you like best 引导学生说I like summer best.拿着卡片练习,接着让学生根据自己日常生活中对summer 里能干什么进行描述(用课件图片引导回答)教师指着图片进行提问:What can you do in summer?引导学生回答。
S:I can go swimming. I can eat ice-cream.
4.看落叶的动画,T:It’s cool and windy. Please guess. Which season is it S:Autumn。开火车游戏操练单词。板书autumn。
T:Which season do you like best 引导学生说I like autumn best.拿着卡片练习,接着让学生根据自己日常生活中对autumn 里能干什么进行描述(用课件图片引导回答)教师指着图片进行提问:What can you do in autumn?引导学生回答。
S:I can draw pictures.
5.听刺骨的寒风的声音,T:It’s cold . Please guess. Which season is it S:Winter。当小老师带读游戏操练单词。板书winter。
T:Which season do you like best 引导学生说I like winter best.拿着卡片练习,接着让学生根据自己日常生活中对 里能干什么进行描述(用课件图片引导回答)教师指着图片进行提问:What can you do in winter?引导学生回答。
S:I can play with snow.
6.教学四个季节单词结束后,进行总结,T: So we have four seasons in a year .They are …… . 接着,让学生观察老师很冷的动作,winter is cold. 分别在单词下面板书了warm, cold, cool, hot。
PPT展示Chant together: Spring,spring, spring is warm. Summer, summer, summer is hot. Autumn, autumn, autumn is cool. Winter, winter, winter is cold .通过说唱歌谣,师生反复说唱相应图片与语句对应,加强学生复习牢记单词。
Step3游戏活动(Activities)。
1. Guessing games
T:Now , this time,let’s listen and guess. Let’s have a super PK. (出示图片遮住单词,分小组比赛猜单词。)
T: What’s this (spring,summer, autumn, winter)
通过游戏让学生动脑,动口,提高学生学习兴趣,让课堂气氛活跃起来,从而也可检验学生是否掌握好单词。
2.萝卜蹲游戏,四个季节分成四个组,spring组,summer组,autumn组,winter组
Spring is coming, spring is coming then summer is coming.
Summer is coming, summer is coming then autumn is coming.
Autumn is coming, autumn is coming then winter is coming.
Winter is coming, winter is coming then spring is coming.
Step 4 听录音(Listen and read).
1. Listen and follow it 2 times.
2.listen and number.听音,标号在书上。
Step 5 小组活动(Group work).

让学生小组间运用这一句型进行操练,并检查操练效果,让部分学生汇报展示),检查完后,进行评价。
Step 6 读一读,连一连(Read and match)
用课件呈现,完成Read and match。
Step 7知识拓展与练习(Practice)
1.新知识fall=autumn,运用落叶展示fall, fall落下,飘落
T:Why can we call“autumn” fall 为什么秋天也可以叫fall?
Fall意为落下,在秋天叶子基本都落下了,所以美国人就形象化地把秋天称为fall。
2.Let’s chant 边听边拍手跟唱2遍。
3.Fill in the blanks .chant歌谣填空

Summer is hot and the days are ________.
Autumn is _____and the farmers are busy.
