教材分析
本单元的主题是四季。第一课时初步介绍了四季的气候,本节课是第二课时,为阅读课,是一首关于四季的诗歌。诗歌,篇幅简短、文字优美、节奏感强、充满韵味,诗歌的学习对于学生语言能力和文学素养的提升十分有益。本课时主要学习这首关于小诗,了解四季的特征,感受诗歌的遣词造句、韵律以及修辞美,通过理解分析小诗所表达的不同感情,让学生用不同感情朗读小诗感受诗歌的美。
学情分析
这节课的授课对象是八年级的学生。 他们进入初中后已经有了一定的语言知识积累,并且也掌握了一些基本的学习英语的策略和方法。语言学习兴趣相对来说比较稳定,语言思维上更敏捷、稳重,有一定的表达欲望。教师要做到的就是创造尽可能多的机会让他们进行听说训练,最终让他们运用目标语言来表达自己,培养他们综合应用语言的能力。基于这样的学情,这节课主要用了情境教学法和任务型教学,逐步引导学生主动探究。
教学目标
1、通过观看、自己读、跟录音读等方式读懂小诗。
2、通过各种方式的读来感受小诗的遣词、韵律及修辞之美。
3、根据小诗要表达的感情朗读小诗,感受阅读之美。
4、根据已学小诗及已掌握的有关四季气候和特征词汇,创造自己的关于四季的小诗。
教学过程
Step One: Lead-in: beautiful words about seasons
1. Watch a video about beautiful scenery of four seasons.
2. Beautiful words
Ask the students to show their beautiful words about four seasons. One student says one; don’t repeat others.
(If they can show one, you can get one leaf for your group.)
【设计意图】通过让学生用好词来表达四季,既激发学生的兴趣又复习四季的表达,使学生更容易迅速融入新课学习。
Step Two: Poem learning
ⅠThe beauty of language
1. Enjoy the video about the poem
After watching, ask students to describe the pictures from the video and see who has a good memory.
2. Read and match
T: What beautiful pictures! I can’t wait to touch the words in the poem. Now let’s open our books and read it. Then we will do a match job.
3. Read the poem carefully and fill in the table.
T: Please read it carefully again and pay attention to the weather and activities in each season.
【设计意图】通过观看动画描述图片、自己默读连线和自己朗读填表格等活动来帮助学生理解小诗,感受四季变化。
Ⅱ The beauty of rhymes
1. Read after the tape and find out the rhymes
T: After understanding the poem, let read after the tape and try to imitate the pronunciation and intonation.

Ask students to find out the rhymes in the poem and feel the rhyming beauty.

Ask students to find out the figure of speech --- personification used in the poem.
2. The beauty of language
T: Since we have learnt about rhyme and personification. Can you help complete the poem It is a little difficult. You can discuss it in groups of four.
【设计意图】通过朗读分析四个的用词帮助学生找出拟人的修辞手法,紧接着给出一首诗歌让学生用刚学过的修辞和韵律完成小诗。帮助学生更进一步理解拟人修辞。

T: Poems are beautiful not only because of the rhyme but also because of our beautiful reading. Among the four seasons l like winter best. I would like to read it for you. Please try to find out why I read like this.

T: Please choose your favorite stanza to read and try to read it with different feelings. If you can read it correctly, you can get one leaf. If you can read it correctly and clearly, you can get two leaves. If you can read it correctly, clearly and emotionally, you can get three leaves. If you can read it correctly, clearly, emotionally and beautifully, you can get four leaves.

T: Create your own poems about seasons. You can write two or four lines. Try to use rhyming words.
