一、自主定向Preview the new words and phrases1. vt. 攻击，进攻2. n. 北极熊3. adj. 雄性的；男性的4. be in danger 5. walk until they find a river 6. live as a family 二、合作交流Step 1.Lead-in 1. What TV programme will you watch if you finish your homework early tonight 2. If it is sunny this Saturday, what will you do Step 2.Work out the rule We use if to talk about the result of a possible action.Step 3.PresentationGive the students more examples: 1)If I have enough time, I will help many people.2)If it rains tomorrow, I will stay at home.3)If you work hard, you will learn English well.4)If it does not rain tomorrow, we will have a trip.5)We will go fishing if it is fine next Sunday.Step 4.Work out the ruleWe often use the simple present tense in the if-clause. We need a comma after the if-clause when it is the first part of a sentence.Step 5.PracticeFinish the exercises in Part A1、A2 then check the answer.三、当堂评估Join the sentences with if. The temperature rises to 100℃. The room becomes bright.You feel cool. It rains.You switch on the lights. Water boils, The ground gets wet. You turn on the air conditioner. You put oil on water. It floats.四、课后延展Finish the exercises in the workbook. 分小组讨论，说说这种句型的用法。1．If从句（一般现在时）+主句（一般现在时）If you cool steam, it turns into water.If we don't water a flower, it dies. 2．If 从句（一般现在时）+主句（一般将来时）If we don’t hurry, we won’t finish the work on time.这类if条件句的主句部分还可以用祈使句。如：Don't wait for me if I'm late. 这类if条件句的主句部分还可以用情态动词。如：I may buy a car if I pass my driving test
